Yes - turns out it's just a sticker. The seller should include this info prominently - there may be more people hesitating to buy because they don't want to advertise "AMMO"! (plus if you use it as a toolbox, like I am, you don't want someone breaking into your car because they think you've got something valuable.)

Q: What's the diagonal measurement? Wondering if a shotgun or AR would fit when broken down.

Hi KevThe diagonal dimension is 20 1/4 inches. If you have a take down Winchester 1897 with a shorter barrel, it might fit. An AR pistol might fit. Are you looking at using the box to store your firearm, or as part of a GO bag? Because if you are looking for a GO bag, check out RE Factor Tactical's Advanced Special Operations bag. It will hold a broken down M4, with no problem.

Q: Can you bring this on an airplane with ammo in it

Q: anyone putting 9mm in this and if so how many?

I vacuum pack my long term storage 9mm and I have 2,500 rounds in each of these Ammo Crates. I also use them to store you 12G ammo. I have seen people fit up to 20 boxes in one crate. I store 18 because it's easier to get them in and out.
