Very easy to install and they look great. We have them above our nightstands. The wall has wallpaper and we used a cord-cover with wallpaper on it to blend the cord with the wall. These are a great option for those looking for a built-in look with a plug-in lamp. They don’t cast a ton of light, which we like. They definitely aren’t task lights, but it’s enough light to read by. We only use them at night and it produces a very relaxing warm light.

I have a very dark hallway. I recently repainted the walls and was able to display an original Lee Roberson painting. I installed the light above the picture and it is perfect! There is enough light to light up the hallway but subtle enough to highlight the beautiful painting. To be so affordable I couldn't imagine anything working better than this. If I had to make a suggestion to the manufacturer, it would be to put a longer electrical cord on it. It is designed to be higher on the wall or even the ceiling but the cord is so short, I've had to use an extension cord. Not enough of an inconvenience to lower the rating but a viable suggestion.

Aesthetically, these are nice-looking, minimalist lamps that can fit into the style of almost any room they're installed in. The lamp heads can tilt up and down, and pivot side to side. LED bulbs (2700K) are also included which is a nice convenience, and they have an appropriate amount of brightness for bedtime reading. However, the construction and quality of materials of these lamps isn't the best. Both the mounting plate and lamp base are made of thin, easily bent metal. The base doesn't fit snugly onto the mounting plate, causing the lamp to tilt slightly forward away from the wall. Both of the lamps I received have the switch facing toward the wall instead of outward and one has a slight bit of rust at the hinge where the lamp tilts. I'm not too upset about it, though, since I picked these up while they were on sale at less than half of their regular price and they do otherwise look nice. However, like I stated in the headline of this review, I'd recommend you only pick these up when they're marked down in price.

I needed two sconce / accent lights for my living room. I wanted a modern look that also did the job of putting light where I needed it. So, I bought two of these and set them up. They do exactly what I wanted.The light is sufficient and they look great as installed. The base on these lights is functional enough and simple to screw in firmly. The decorative cover that goes atop that attaches firmly to the base and I've not had any problems with the set up.The light functions properly and provides the illumination I wanted as well as the "modern look" to the overall effect.

I had low expectations when I ordered this but was still surprisingly disappointed. I knew the quality was cheap but it is the right size, aesthetically pleasing and under budget so I purchased anyways.The lamp I received was clearly manufactured poorly because the bulb does not fully rest within the shade. We tried to see if we could fix/tighten the socket but it does not budget. I'm irritated I drilled holes in my wall for this. We opted for the discount but the longer I look at it the more I'm leaning towards returning it.The finish wasn't scratched up as expected, so there's that.

I bought 2 to place on either side of the bed in the master bedroom. I love the updated modern look, which replace bedside table lamps. The biggest difference is the light is mainly directed downward since it has a metal cover, so it does not provide ambient lighting for the entire room. I may put a lamp on the dresser for that. But I do like the option of having the light on for one side of the bed if I want to read for example, and it allows the other side of the bed to be dark so my husband can still sleep. Very easy to install, too

I got these for my living room - there's no lighting built into the room and I wanted the floor space in the room for something other than lamps. These are great except for the cord - there's no way of bundling up or wrapping the excess length of cord, so it just kind of... gets in the way and swings around everywhere. I intend to eventually wrap the cord in tape so it's the same color as the wall, and I intend to tape it to the wall so it doesn't flop around, but the lights are installed directly above the outlets they're plugged into so there will be two feed of excess cord which I guess I'll... I'll figure something out. I have a feeling that I'm going to have a whole bunch of cord taped to my living room wall by the end of it, though.You get what you pay for and if you want something nice, don't buy something cheep. The bronze looks GREAT in my living room, though, and I knew full well that this lamp was more of a mood lighter than a space brightener. It's only the cord I have complaints about.

I bought two of these lamps and installed them next to my boys' beds They swivel around which is cute. I love the simple design. It's a pretty dim light but perfect for night reading before bed. These lamps are cute if you get two in good condition. The quality control of the lamps are truly appalling. They came in the messiest styrofoam packaging I have ever opened.The holes they punched in the lightare poorly done and even a bit sharp (see pic). One of lamps came damaged, so I order another. That too came damaged and missing installation hardware so I ordered another. That one came with the worst damage and it was a completely different color than the other lamp I already installed (see pic). I ended up keeping the original damaged one because that just had a surface damage. Had I not installed one of the lights already, I wouldv'e sent them all back. Very frustrating.I love the style but everything else.......not worth it. I say keep looking.
