These small pulleys work great for birdfeeder mounting
Used these pulleys to hag a birdfeeder high in a try so we would have to lower and raise it when filling it. We’ve been using them for 1 1/2-2 years now and they’ve held up-no rust and run smoothly!

Great pulleys, but instructions would be nice
I recently purchased a15mm Crane Pulley system to hang a bug repellent canister from the eaves of my house. The pulleys are great little gizmos, but having never rigged a pulley system before, I needed instructions, and there were none. I scoured the Internet and YouTube to find a simple video that explains how to rig two pulleys, and I finally found funsciencedemos "Simple Machines: The Pulley," and low and behold, I now know how to rig a pulley system. I still need to find a good YouTube video that explains how to tie knots that won't come undone.

Performs as described. The hardware is very sturdy. Even though I purchased the thicker nylon rope (6mm) the rope still stretches and sags a bit due to the weight of the bird feeder. No biggie.

I've had this system for a year now and it has remained outdoors for the entire time. I am very happy with it - the pulleys are sturdy and reliable, the rope has stood the elements well and the snap links are also well made and sturdy. I put them under quite a bit of strain, holding a sun sail up and they are more than up to the task. My only negative is that the edges of the gates on the snap links are rough and catch the rope, so you might need to file the edges a little to prolong the life of the rope. However, don't let this put you off - it is a minor point. 5*'s

Good quality, you need a cleat such as a marine cleat to tie the cord up with. A pair of Carabiners to loop round the ladder and something to hang from with 2.5 inch screws.
