BirkenCrocs!?!
I'm sure I am not the first to put this together, but these are almost like a perfect marriage of the 2 shoe companies who specialize in super- supreme comfort for feet, fashion be damned! (I think they look good, but whatever). I have always been reluctant to spend the $100 + to have authentic Birkenstocks, and remember enjoying some knockoff brand sandals in the 90's. Well, these here let you try out Birkenstock engineering and comfort for a small percentage of the price. I have since then purchased some Birkenstock clogs, but this is my first day with them, so I will review those later. These are very comfortable, and I think the black ones look enough like leather to fool most. But the comfort!!!! I went to the park with my wife and walked several miles over various terrain, and my feet felt great. Likewise, I have worn them to work on casual day, and they stand up to all day wear as well. I also took them to the pool with no worries! Bottom line, if you've ever wanted to try a pair of Birkenstocks, this is an inexpensive way to experience the brilliance that has kept this company in business for over 2 centuries. They are also super light weight, and don't seem to harbor foot odor. (Not that I have any of that, of course).

Perfect!
I love Birks. The only bad part is breaking them in- and avoiding getting them wet. I wear my birks year round (if there's no snow, the birks are a-go) and water was the demise of my past two pairs of cork-and-leather birks. With EVA birks, I don't have to worry about any of that. My feet are EXTREMELY flat with a forward arch, breaking in standard birks or even soft footbed birks can actually be extremely painful. After 6 months of daily wear I'm not seeing any real deterioration of the sandal, and not feeling any less supported while I stand or walk. I just bought white Birkenstocks for my wedding, I had a choice to purchase the Soft footbed leather Arizona's or white EVA Arizona's (with stock and shipping issues making the price difference only about $20, so price wasn't a factor in this choice) and I chose the entirely EVA. I don't know if I'll ever go back to a traditional Birkenstock, I can't recommend them enough. Some folks say they smell, but I always wear socks with mine and I've never experienced that issue. Even with hiking/walking miles in these sandals.

Must have
I get a pair of these each year. I dont have to worry about rain, beach sand, or wet feet at the pool. Comfy and easy to clean. Super convenient.

Comfortable and durable!
I bought these as a low-cost alternative to the traditional leather and cork Birkenstock sandals. I wanted to test my size and see whether I would wear them enough to justify spending a lot of money of a pair of sandals. They fit perfectly, so much so that my kids wanted to know how I got sandals that were shaped like my wide, funny feet! They are also exceptionally comfortable. There is some room for improvement, though. The dished footbed will hold water, sand, and dirt, making them less than ideal for outdoor wear, especially at the beach. The sandals will also squeak loudly when they're wet. But, they are super comfortable! I've worn them all summer on all sorts of surfaces and they still look fairly new. The straps have softened and molded to the shape of my arches. All in all, I'm really happy with these sandals, so much so that I'm not sure I need to upgrade to the traditional style for any reason other than looks!

Good pair of sandals
I initially purchased these for something with arch support for my flat feet. I am happy to report that I get the support I need and they are lightweight. It was my experience that they do require some breaking in. I have a slight bunion and although I adjusted the straps it was still a little uncomfortable until I broke them in. Now that they are broken in I wear them with no problem. I wore them while vacationing in Myrtle Beach. I walked a lot and appreciated the comfort and the fact that they are water proof.

Great Sandals!
I went into purchasing these thinking I would not like them, but I have been pleasantly surprised by how well they fit, how good they feel, and how durable they seem to be. Many times now I have forgotten I even have them on! No, they are not the same as an Arizona Sandal, not nearly as stiff, and there is tremendous give in the footbed, but not uncomfortably soft. The only "con" I really can offer is my feet sweat more due to the solid non-absorbent material, but the shoes themselves do not seem to retain any odor from it. And, since I use them outside most of the time, around the farm (chickens, horses, dogs, etc) they are easy to just rinse or wash off when needed.

... trip to Bali in the summer and they were perfect. Most people in southeast Asia wear rubber sandals ...
I took these on a trip to Bali in the summer and they were perfect. Most people in southeast Asia wear rubber sandals everywhere because they're ideal in the heat and humidity. These are a great alternative to wearing cheap, disposable sandals and instead wearing something that looks like more of a classic. They're also super comfortable and provide a nice, thick, layer of rubber that also sets them apart from flimsy rubber flip flops. I got them wet every day, walked through a jungle with them, hiked miles on sandy beaches and other than some treat wear, they look exactly the same as when I bought them. Now, I use them in the garden on warm days since I can just hose them off when I'm done.

Very Poor Customer Service and Policies
Quite honestly, buy Birkenstocks from any other seller than this one. They have a 30 day return policy for an item that nearly costs 200 dollars. When I reached out about extensive damage to the strap of the shoes after normal use, they pretty much told me that it wasn't their issue and I should reach out to Birkenstock specifically if I wanted help. When I did just that, Birkenstock told me that I had purchased from an unauthorized Birkenstock seller and I would only be able to operate within their policies (which are garbage anyway). I am blown away that you can take absolutely no responsibility for a product you sell, and refuse to assist your customers when they trust the product with their own time and money. I've done some digging and this does not seem to be a common issue with the strap; makes me feel like I've been ripped off with an inferior off brand version. Really looking for a way to remedy this, but it honestly looks like these shoes wont even see the summer months.
