Great lamp, must put weight on wheels when bringing lamp lower level

i did not expect this lamp to be as nice as it is. i like the bright light that can be adjusted and the magnification as well. i am enjoying it even though it is not a heavy duty lamp;, it works for me.

I’ve only used this magnifying light once, but it seems to work well. Dimmable light, sturdy and the magnifying glass does the job. Here’s the problem, I’m a hairstylist stylist and I install lashes as well. Because the lamp has to be place directly over the clients face I was unable to use the lamp because it was in the way. Perfect for enlarging things but a hassle for eyelash install. Last thing, the electrical cord is really short other than that is good for the price.

This product is working as we expected, affordable, heavy duty, great lighting and very user friendly! It came with easy to read instruccions, the wrench tool to assemble it and the hardware were on the product itself making EZ to assemble in 5 min and most important my wife is happy! !!HAPPY WIFE HAPPY LIFE !!

Very easy to not only assemble ands set up but also super simple to move around and adjust. Can be used as either a clamp on any table surface or om wheels with smooth rolling.The lights adjustable to your preference of brightness and the magnifying glass is crystal clear and makes small things easy om eyes. Great for crafting table and cricut weeding!

On the good side, the dimmable light can be very bright, and the magnification is good at the center.On the bad side, the base is so light that the unit is top-heavy and unstable. The material fells light and flimsy. I still had the base from an older lamp, and I used that and threw the supplied base away. The arm does not have much play. I also had to lubricate it when I first got it or listen to it squeak each time it was moved. It is almost impossible to adjust the head. The arm swings up instead of out and up. Moving it away from the work means tipping your head back or getting smacked on the chin by the unit. The unit does magnify, but it distorts around the edges making the available work space small, which means frequent adjustments which are very hard to do.I've ordered a new lamp, and will get great pleasure from throwing this on in the trash.

This mag lamp is stable and brightness is adjustable, both which are very important while I’m performing extractions during a client’s facial. It’s very easy to adjust the height and angle of the lamp without worrying that the lamp will hit/fall on a client’s face. The lamp can either be used on the wheels it came with making it somewhat portable or it can be attached to a table/wall through it’s clamp.

Love the magnification and the light is bright. That's it. The rest of it is awful. When not using it I have to move it to a location where it won't fall to the floor. Usually I move it so the light/magnifier hang over my ironing board. I'm lucky it still works because it has fallen to the floor 3 times. I am now spending more money to put weights on the base which limits the reason I purchased it. I wanted to be able to take it upstairs if need be. Well, with weights on it that's a huge issue and it'll be more difficult to roll it around on the carpeting downstairs because of the added weight to the base. Then there's the articulating the joints which don't hold at all. I'm going to be changing out the rivets used with screws and wingnuts to be able to tighten it so it will hold. I find myself positioning MYSELF to use it rather than positioning the entire unit because none of it holds. It defeats the entire purpose of having something like this. I have other articulating lights but none on wheels and they work fine...this one does NOT. It's sad that many other have stated the same thing and the company doesn't respond or care. Putting a screw with a wingnut to tighten seems like an easy fix during assembly as opposed to consumers having to rig it. This is one of the only ones out there with the 8x magnification and you may sell more if you fix the issues. I'll never purchase another or anything else from this company because of these issues. If you've made it this far, I don't leave reviews for the most part but really felt the need to do so with this product. Just be aware that you'll probably have to do the same to have the product work the way you need after you buy it.
