I got these to replace a couple of lights that I had for my grill. They were the type with the bendable neck and used 3 AAA batteries each. The batteries didn't last long and the light was too focused to one area. I wanted some that were more rigid and rechargeable that had a better light spread.The magnets are strong and the adjustable head are perfect. I set them on the lid of my grill and can see everything. With one on each side, the entire grill is lit up. You can't beat these for the price. I highly recommend them.

Hi, here to provide a 2-year review.- both still charges. magnet still good. hook somewhat useful. all leds still work.- fresh charge now lasts about 1.5hrs at the brightest setting.- one of the led transparent plastic screen has a stain. Removed it to replace with a clear tape. Works well. This requires opening up the unit, which isn't too bad.- lost one of the charging port rubber covers. no big deal.

Since I got these lights I've used the heck out of them.They can hang by their included hook. They can be attached using their built-in magnet. You could use the little wrist strap, although frankly I find that more trouble than its worth (plus it always seems to be getting in the way). Or you could just set it there and it'll stand on its base.They're small enough that you can use them to light nooks & crannies. In my case those nooks & crannies are usually tucked away somewhere in the guts of a car. They have a built-in charging port for the rechargeable battery (micro-USB charging port, battery cannot be removed) with an indicator light that lights red when charging, green when fully charged.There are five lighting modes: main COB light bright, main COB light dim, LEDs on end of COB light (sort of like a little flashlight), main COB light red, & main COB light red and flashing.Speaking of that main COB light: it can be swung all the way around to face the opposite direction,, or positioned anywhere in between. It only rotates along one axis, but it covers the entire 360 degree arc to put that main light wherever you need it.It's a good light at a good price. I use the heck out of both of mine.

These a very beneficial, for throwing some light into areas where I (wouldn't) want a perment 120v light source... specifically I used these for my Stereo Equipment (Power, RCA Interconnects, and my 7 pairs of Speakers wires) I have 4 Power AMPS and 5 pair of Speakers. I do allot of (RCA Cables, and Speaker Cables Wire) testing, and these light a very bright on HI & Medium ... going behind the Speaks, and Amplifier cabinet(s). Behind the AMPS and Speakers it's dim or dark, I do not use hold hold lights when I'm listing to Music. I LED lights that project a dim warm color cast throught the listing room, therefore, when I'm making any Wire/Cable changes I need a very good light source that is easy to use. These light fit the bill perfectly.Being Magnetic, I'm able to attach them to my equipment, as I make Wire/Cable changes. I think the Magnet cold be a little stronger, but in my situation they work perfect.

The light is not as bright as other lights I’ve had and the magnet is not as strong. But for the price I can’t really complain.
