Rock-Solid Prints with a Touch of Elegance!
This Marble PLA Filament has been an awesome addition to my 3D printing toolkit. I was a little skeptical at first, was it really going to look like marble or just come out looking like grey plastic? But wow, the results have exceeded my expectations. It gives prints a convincing marble-like finish, which is perfect for creating items that need that elegant, stone-like look without the weight of actual rock. The filament feeds smoothly into my printer with no issues, and the layer adhesion has been spot-on, no warping, clogging, or stringing. The marble effect really comes through, giving a classy textured look that’s great for anything from statues to plant pots or even desk decorations. It’s a great way to add that ‘premium’ touch to otherwise standard prints. It also hides imperfections surprisingly well. Any minor layer lines seem to blend right in, and the slightly speckled look means you don’t have to be too concerned about absolute perfection in your print settings. If you want to elevate your prints with a rock-inspired flair, this filament is definitely worth trying. Just be ready for everyone to ask, “Is that real marble?” because it looks that good!

Odd behviour on a simple extrude but actually prints really well
I don't normally give product reviews but wanted to provide some feedback on my experience of using this particular filament. I have used silk-effect filaments from other brands but this one behaves rather oddly in some situations... although it does print OK and my test print was perfect. I have a Creality Ender 3 V3 KE and use Mainsail and Orca slicer. When I was extruding the filament through the nozzle to purge the material I had been printing previously the silk filament came out in a rather unusual way - as it exited the nozzle it seemed to expand like a foam so that it was actually larger than the original 1.75mm filament that when into the top of the extruder. It was also not particularly silver - rather more a pale grey. I did some research, created a new filament profile and printed a temperature tower. It printed perfectly. The tower was set to print from 230C to 200C and it was very difficult to decide which temperature gave the best print. Because of what I'd observed during the initial filament extrude I paid close attention to the temperature tower print so I know that it did change the temperature at each stage. I ended up picking 220C which gave slightly less stringing. This was higher than I would normally expect to print PLA. I then did an extrude and saw it produce the same effect as before - no idea why it does this but it prints fine. Did another test print and again the quality was spot-on. So before you maybe think about sending this back (I certainly did), print something and I think you'll be very happy with it. I'll do some more testing over the next few days.

Awful on 0.4 nozzle, the best I’ve used on 0.6 nozzle
I’m using the Pearl White Silk PLA on a FlashForge printer. On the 0.4mm nozzle it jams and is awful, on the 0.6mm nozzle it’s a pleasure to work with. I’ve struggled to get anything to work using the 0.4mm nozzle due to clogging issues. Using the 0.6mm nozzle I’m getting some brilliant prints with no issues. This is now my second most ordered filament (first using the 0.6mm nozzle).

What a great colour!
Printed this off of makerworld. Didn't like the green they had in their picture and thought I'd give it a go. Brilliant colour, fits right in with the current decor and no problem printing it, didn't even string and thats without drying it. I will be buying this again. I use their Shiny Silky Black to print out the 'Alien' as its a perfect match. Love this brand

Eye catching
Orange is not a colour I like but my nephew wanted an orange item making. I have used this make of PLA before so I bought this. The finished items were eye catching both because of the colour and the silk finish really catches the light. Now I have been asked to make more in this colour for friends

Awful filament
This filament is the first time I've ever had problems on my Prusa Mini. It always prints reliably and consistently. However, this stuff is stringing, lacks adhesion to the bed and constantly clogs the nozzle causing the extruder to grind onto the strand. I've had to clean the printer several times and when I did get a very poor quality print with it, it was fragile and brittle. One of the worst filaments I have ever encountered.

Lo compre para unas piezas y el resultado es brutal, precioso y con mucha calidad tanto empaquetado , bobinado como el producto en si, posiblemente se convierta en mi meca favorita.
