Works for Labor & Delivery but better for Postpartum
I ordered this gown last minute and by last minute, literally the morning I was getting induced which was earlier than scheduled. I didn’t think I needed to get a hospital gown, but I got one anyways however I didn’t wear mine during my delivery because there was no way I was even able to have changed into it. Also, I was set for a regular delivery ended up having an emergency C-section last minute. I did wear this after I delivered and I was in postpartum and it was perfect. To breastfeed I just kept the first button on my arms snapped and it made it easy to remove to breastfeed. It weighs like a regular hospital gown but definitely of a better quality and the designs are cute. You do need someone to help you button the back up. I washed mine, it’s definitely much softer after washing, a tad faded but nothing extreme. Overall, I’d recommend this but maybe not delivering in it unless you really want all those fluids and gross stuff on it and then you’d still want to keep it after the fact.

Flattering
I have recently been in the hospital and been subjected to wearing their 'gowns.' I know some people don't have a problem with them, but I do. I am 4'11" and I have yet to find a gown that fits me properly. They look like immense pools of fabric floating over a small body. The material is scratchy and comes in the most beutiful shades of washed-out gray, blue and green. Last time, it was vibrant yellow with red ties. Apparently, even hundreds of washes couldn't fade that yellow. I think the worst part is that because the sleeves are too big/long, it's diffult to find your hands for tasks such as eating, drinking and thumbing through the internet on your tablet. By the way, how do you like everyone and your roomate's family seeing your backside? I didn't think so. Help! So one night I was surfing Amazon and wondered if they had any better hospital gowns. Jackpot! I fell in love with this cute pink polka-dot one. Honestly, I wanted to buy every single one because they were so cute. It is so cute, you could wear it at home without feeling like a hospital patient. There are snaps on the sleeves and all the way down the back. You don't feel tham at all. The fabric is cotton-y and decently soft. No stretch in these gowns. The small was just about the perfect lenth for me, although the neckline was a bit wide. That's probably not an issue unless you have small, narrow shoulders like mine. I never felt exposed while wearing this gown. The price of this gown is worth every penny because it allows me to feel comfortable in a very uncomfortable place. Thankfully, my nurses didn't have a problem with me wearing my own gown, but you might not be so lucky. There's always that one nurse that insists on following all the rules.

Very nice, practical and dressier.
Size small/ for a 5’1” woman approximately 115/120 lb.I bought this for my mom who had femur surgery in Italy, and brought it with me on my trip. Unfortunately Amazon.it did not have enough selections or merchants who sell this type of hospital clothings and even less in regard to hospital gowns. That is why I bought it in the US. My mom loved the fabric, she stated it was very comfortable. She liked the flower print a lot. The hospital staff did too, stating that they never saw anything like that prior. The gown is long enough that one butt will not be exposed and can be used for physical therapy post surgery with ease of movements. in fact for my mom height it was below her knee. The fabric washed really well on the European washers that have hotter water and longer cycles. It retained its shape, colors and stains were easy to remove. You can hang it or dry it in drier. The fabric can be spot treated or even bleached too.The gown is perfect for femur surgery and shoulder/s surgery as well since the snap buttons are both on left and right side. The back has snap buttons too and it has pockets.I suggest this for anyone who is having surgery, or a maternity post partum gown, or even for someone who is bed ridden who needs to have special clothings to facilitate sponge bathing or other. The price is fair for the quality of the garment and I would definitely buy another one (different print).

Nice, but runs small
The gown looks nice and is comfortable, but it runs small. I usually wear a large or extra large, but this 2x-3x fits the way this gown is cut.

Elderly Hospice Patient Approved
This year, my previously healthy 90 year old grandma fell getting out of the shower and ended up in a nursing home. Any amount of movement left her in excruciating pain, so doing things that you and I probably find simple - like brushing our hair or changing our clothes - became a very traumatic task. Months later, she ended up on hospice.I was at a loss for what to get someone who is dying for Mother’s Day, but I didn’t want to just not get her anything. I found these gowns and thought they’d be perfect - she doesn’t need to sit up to put these on since they snap down the back - all she needs to do is put her arms out. I picked two out for her.My grandma loved these gowns. At one point after dementia set in and she didn’t want to do much, she asked to wear her “blue dress.” I realized she was actually looking forward to changing clothes, enough that she was thinking about what she’d like to wear. The snaps in the front (that a new mother would use for nursing) were somewhat of a negative for OUR situation, because if she unsnapped the snaps it was kinda hard to figure out which snaps went where without asking her to sit up so I could untwist her “dress.” But I won’t mark my rating down for that, the gowns are great and (obviously) the creators wouldn’t have known that an elderly dementia patient would be unsnapping snaps when nobody was paying attention, lol.Anyways. Thank you for creating these gowns. They allowed my grandma to stay covered AND to not feel like she was wearing an ugly hospital gown in her final days. The fabric was comfortable, the fit was good, and the print was super cute.
