Excellent. It works as expected with my Sony A6700 when recording 1-hour long videos - I do still need to use a mini fan on the camera as relying on the dummy battery does not resolve the overheating issue).

Works flawlessly

Bought this for my Sony A1. i already had one for my Nikon's. it works that is about it. the cord was for the UK socket and i need a different one, that was easily replaced. the one thing that stands out against my Nikon versions is that the Sony Says that the battery is low when it doesnt have one. it goes from 100% down to empty battery icon but keeps working. i just had it working for me for 5 days 24/7 and every works. price is way to expensive for what it is. an adapter and plastic dummy battery do not need to be this expensive and its more expensive then my Nikon versions.

I’ve been struggling to find a mains adapter for my A7R 2 for a while and I took a chance with this one and it certainly paid off. I’ve used the adapter for a whole day filming at a conference and had no problems at all, would definitely recommend!

Great product that’s turned my A7 into a webcam. Works perfectly for me.

I've bought 4 of these (2 for each of 2 different Sony battery types) and each one came with a 13a fuse. The stated input draw is 1.3a, so this will allow 10x more current to flow before blowing the fuse to protect your camera in case of some malfunction. This is IMO an unnecessary risk to equipment and a 3a fuse should be fitted. Ignoring this (and if you're happy to swap the fuse yourself for a good quality 3a fuse) then they work well and I can recommend them.

Arrived non-working. The light on the coupler doesn't even turn on so it's not getting any power at all.
