Prince Valiant Vol. 11: 1957-1958

Prince Valiant is one of the best còmics I read in my life.In addition to an excellent scenario, we can find the most beautiful images and drawings, that we can find in the còmic illustration work.I started reading this còmic around 1961 when I was 14 years old (now I'm 68) in spanish còmic books from Editorial Dollar (I'm spanish from Catalonia-Europe) of no very good quality, and now whith Fantagraphic edition we are very close to the original one. Thanks for it to all the involved people.

As with all these hardbound beautifully printed Harold Foster Prince Valiant books [I have them all ] , this is a must for anyone who has an interest in the days of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. I'm old school, and I appreciate reading about the days of chivalry, jousting knights, and ladies in waiting, etc. This is renaissance in laptop form. The art and detail in these weekly panels are unsurpassed. Foster was prolific. He is also World famous among art people. Not a kid's comic book. Savor each panel like a good steak.

How can you go wrong? Excellent reproduction of what I consider to be the greatest adventure comic strip of all time. The added bonus material and early Foster advertising work makes it even better.

Superior artistry and graphics. The story lines are typically well thought out and better scripted than most of today's media. A classic in every sense.

One review for all of Hal Fosters work is sufficient. Genius artist and story teller, and as a graphic artist/cartoonist for dozens of years there was no one better. I am aiming to own his complete collection.

Every serious fan will love this continuation of the Valiant saga in this splendid volume comprising full-color plates reproduced from original sources.

Could not ask for a better publication and I have several collections of Prince Valiant by Hall Foster. Actually this is the best and if you love Hall's work and specifically Prince Valiant, this is the one to have, none better
