These are great! It took less than 5 minutes to change them out. The new ones work very well. I used them on a 2012 Hyundai Veloster.

This product showed up in excellent condition. Took me literally 2mins to install. Just pop the top and bottom clips up or off located on the top and bottom of the strut. Use a flat head, or like I did, literally a piece of random metal, while pulling the old strut off and away from the hatch. Make sure you have someone or thing holding the hatch up, or it will immediately slam shut when you pop the first part off. Then once you have one side completely removed just smack on the new ones using your hands ✋. Worked extremely well. Hatch swings up and closes much more smoothly. Even if you think your hatch is fine, but have 50k plus miles on it, trust me, replace it with these. Massive difference, zero effort, and extremely cheap. One of the best replacements for satisfaction I've ever done, and I work on cars a lot. Mechanical knowledge: 0.5/10 Ease of installation: 10/10 Satisfaction: 10/10

Got this installed and no more issues with the hatch no wanting to stay upright when opened.

I’ve only had my car for around 50,000 miles and the original truck shocks were already wearing out. Very easy install but I would recommend having someone hold up the truck while you are working on it. Only complaint I have is that it brings the truck up a little bit too quickly. It hits the top of its arc at a decent speed and I have to slow it down or it hurts my soul. Pretty good product for what you pay.
