My wife's Acer Aspire E-15 developed a problem with its display that made it go black unless the lid was held just right., apparently a backlight wiring problem.I looked up how to replace the display, which involves removing the bezel and 4 very small screws. The part number was on the back.I gave it 4 stars because I'm not convinced the new display is as good as the one that broke, but the E-15 is a cheap computer to begin with and buying the OEM display seemed like a waste of money.It comes with a nice toolkit but it's missing a spudger, which you need to safely remove the bezel. A spudger is basically a plastic knife. The other tools are generally useful, just not on this job.Replacing the display on the Acer E-15 is a simple 15 minute DIY repair, just make sure you have the exact part number.
