I don't know a lot about the supplements industry, but I do know that there is little regulation and a wide range of quality for what appears to be the same product. This brand was recommended to me by a functional MD whom I trust, and my experience using it supports the claim that this is high quality stuff. I took it to help my body eliminate toxic levels of mercury and lead, and over the course of several months my heavy metal levels decreased and my symptoms improved dramatically.
