Great shoes
Great shoes after the break in phase. Ecco’s are by far the most comfortable and durable shoes I’ve ever owned. These are no exception.

Very good traction on wet boat deck. Much better than boat shoes.
Been buying these track shoes for about 25 years at local stores for $250.00 and got these on Amazon for $109.00. They are the same great fit, quality, comfort and support I’ve always known with these shoes. Well made with quality materials and water proof. Also use these as boat shoes because they grip so well.

Hope I have better luck with this pair. UPDATE Great Customer Service and warranty support
I have received this new pair of Ecco's and I am hoping for the best. I have had other models of Ecco shoes and always been very happy with them. This pair of Ecco's is replacing a previous pair that failed, dramatically. Basically the soles separated from the bottom of the shoes when I went to wear them. I had barely worn the previous pair and liked them. When I recently got in a situation where I needed them (basically for outside gardening and landscaping) the shoes failed and separated entirely. Because I needed shoes like these, I ordered a new pair and I wrote Ecco about a replacement for the failed pair. In the meantime, reading reviews I found that catastrophic failure of the soles, with complete separation from the shoe, has been a common problem with these shoes. My two biggest concerns are 1) that they have solved this problem current batches, and 2) that Ecco did not even return my message or concern let alone offer to replace the failed pair. The lack of corporate response and customer service is a major concern in considering any Ecco shoes in the future. I have previously been a loyal customer with many purchases from Ecco. This is an update. The shoes purchased recently through Amazon have been great. No problems so far. After I wrote the above review, I had a second pair of Ecco Track 25 shoes, in this case the high top) fail in the same way, a catastrophic failure of the soles of both shoes. I wrote Ecco again and quickly received a response. Ecco asked me to send back the failed pairs of shoes and provided shipping labels for the returns. Today, I received credit for replacement shoes that covered the cost of both replacements. I could have chosen different shoes, but I am very happy with the fit, comfort, and support of the Ecco Track 25 low and high top shoes. I could not have asked for better customer support, and I trust that they have saved the problem of sole failures. In any case, I now know that Ecco stands behind it product.

Good shoe with some issues
Overall, a good shoe and comfortable. However, there is little shine on it, and surprisingly for something so expensive, Ecco uses some of the cheapest shoelaces known to man.The shoelaces are way too short and of poor quality. We ended up having to order another pair that was longer, 45 in.

Not Sure What I Bought
I have had ECCO shoes (of this style I think) for decades. They have always had outstanding fit and comfort. Extremely durable. I was accustomed to spending over $300 for each pair. It was worth the price because of these great qualities - they were a good value! Before getting this pair, I bought a pair at a factory outlet for under $200. But it wasn't made of the supple leather I had had before. It was not as comfortable. The pair was made in Indonesia (on the tongue label). So I looked on Amazon and there seemed to be two prices for the same shoe - one about $200 and the other for about $300 - and I could not tell from the listings why they had different prices. So I bought this pair on Amazon for about $300 to see if I could get the supple leather and better quality than the factory outlet pair. The listing in Amazon said the shoes were made in eastern Europe somewhere (Croatia??). I thought that the different factory might make shoes of different quality and materials. The more expensive pair might be like the ones I had over the years. But this pair seemed to be the exactly like the ones I bought at at the factory outlet. They were made in Indonesia and the leather wasn't as supple. So I returned this pair.At minimum, the Amazon listing for where these are made is not accurate. But there also seems to be an issue with pricing. Why are there two dramatically different prices for what seems to be the same shoe?I still think ECCO makes great shoes and would happily pay over $300 for the shoe that I had for so many years.
