Fits my Stihl 029 perfect.
Well made and very sturdy. Fits my Stihl 029 like a glove and has lots of storage space for the needed tools like the combo wrench/flat blade driver, files, spare spark plug, Oil for gas & bar, gloves, etc.I was a little unsure initially when I read a review from someone using a Stihl 029 and they had to modify the inside with a Dremel, but I didn't have to alter it at all. The other cool feature is that it has a flat top so I can store other items on top when transporting or storing in my garage.

Good deal on OEM part
Good price on this name brand case but I wish they offered it slightly wider to fit a full wrap handle. I had to swap to a skinny handle for the saw in this case.

Fits husky 440 with 18” bar just fine. I use it for storage only
The case is good for keeping oil from leaking out into the back of your truck or trunk of your car. But this is basically just an assembled husky branded orange version of the case made in black that requires assembly found on Amazon as part number 49MACASE953. Frankly it’s worth it not to have to assemble. That said getting the saw in and out of the case isn’t very speedy so I don’t use this at all except to throw spare chains filters and oil in during the season when I’m using this particular saw. I live in a remote heavily wooded area where trees fall regularly, sometimes blocking roads so I keep this saw in this box in the trunk just in case. And it’s great for that.Negatives:* clunky to get saw in and out. So when you’re working an arborist or logging gig it’s just too much hassle to put the saw in the case. For that I much prefer my Stihl bag which I use for my 462… but my husky is a great little saw and is my “spare” or arbortist saw because it’s lighter and I’d never climb trees with the 462 LOL* the tool holding feature molded into the plastic of the case I’ve found to be worthless. Even the tools designed to fit into the molded plastic just don’t fit in some cases—for instance the field clamp for chain sharpening. So my spare quart of lube oil and 2.6 oz 2 stroke bottle and a quart of premix and extra chain and files all just rattle around loose in there. It’s good to have them in one spot but even my Stihl bag has separate compartments to organize and hold these items much better and in a way that I really find useful. Stihl makes a lot of bags the particular one I’m using now is called the sportsman I think. Also I hear the echo hard case has useful sections for tools and whatnot but whatever this box works fine for what it’s for.

Big box for chainsaw
This box for the chainsaw is large, larger than I thought it would be. My Husqvarna 14 inch chainsaw was listed in the write up as fitting, but getting it into the box and putting the bar in the sleeve is difficult. I wish they would have redesigned that sleeve so the bar could fit in at an angle and slide in easily. That’s not the case and I have a 14 inch blade. I would hate to have a 16 or 18 inch blade and try to get it in there. The design of the box is OK although it has a place for oil and bar oil, I wish it had something to hold them in place !

Very durable
Great box for your husky chainsaw or any other chainsaw very durable. It also has storage spots for bar tool and bar oil spare chains and what ever else you need to carry for logging

Perfect for my 562xp!
This is a perfectly snug fit for my 562xp! I did try to see if the 572xp would fit, but the felling spikes are the limiting factor as the saw doesn't fully sit or allow the box to close properly. Pictured is my 562xp and that seems to be the largest saw you can place in the box. Really happy with this purchase, and love that it neatly keeps everything together for travel. If you're wondering, the gray cloth in my picture is an oil absorbant towel for any oil leaking after use. I did this based off of others suggesting it online. My only negative is that the extra tool slots being empty have prompted me to buy Husqvarna files and other tools that fit to complete the kit.
