This is great quality tea. With milk or water, the taste is lovely. It has good shelf life as well if you keep the baggie closed properly.

So I finally made my milk tea blend with Taylor's English Breakfast Black tea, Ceylon black tea leaves and another great brand of black tea. Another is I made a cup of tea with Taylor's English breakfast alone. I wanted to try Taylor's to see if this is the black tea taste that I am looking for. So I added about 4 tbsp Taylor's English breakfast to 2 cups of boiling water. I steeped it for 8 minutes for a stronger brew. I strained and poured 3/4 cup in a warm mug. Then tasted it - Mmmm! this tea is excellent, just mellow, with dark tannins and very smooth roasted black tea leaves. I would switch this with any tea leaves made by any American tea brands except for Lusianne (which is made in the South) and Bigelow (slightly lighter in taste than this brand. I would definitely skip Lipton and any off-brands that taste like Lipton. It is just awful because it tastes like watered-down tea with artificial lemon oil flavor in it. But anyway, Taylor's English breakfast can definitely go a long way with boiling in some water, then just adding 2 tbsp Taylor's, and steeping it for 5 minutes or recommending steeping time from them. For me, I wanted a stronger brew in which I can taste the tannins, and it gave the tea a dark amber brown color. This goes great with freshly made lemonade to make a great iced tea. This product is really good value for the money as it is 4.4oz for $5.42. I would expect in the future to raise in price but I will be buying this as this is my sought-after flavor profile for slightly bitter but mellow black tea for my milk tea blends such as the HK milk tea, or making chai as the tea base. I can also tell Taylor's also roast their tea leaves very gently because you can taste the tea leaves in its natural taste.

Tastes great, love it and a lot came in a bag! The seal was intact and the tea is quite potent and strong. Really good and I love it.

Update-- if you steep this for two minutes rather than the recommended four to five (as stated on the box), it's MUCH better. Smoother and rich rather than harsh. The malt flavor blends better too, not so artificial tasting. Your mileage may vary, and I'm talking about a tea ball and mug, not a pot. It may take some experimenting to see what works for you, because this tea can be great or can be awful. Steep for a shorter time, even if you need to use more tea to get the strength that you want. Original review: I'm not a tea snob, but I know a good Assam when I taste it because that is my absolute favorite tea. This is just an okay Assam. It's a bit harsh, not as full-bodied as it should be, but strong in a harsh way. The taste of the malt is just a little artificial, it's a bit Malt-O-Meal rather than a rich Assam tea. Plenty of caffeine, and that makes it a good, functional black tea, but really not smooth or rich as the Assam malt should be. Not sure why. I will keep looking for a better one, because even at the low price, this is not worth facing every morning.

Love this tea and I will buy again. Taste is great, not too overpowering with the jasmine flavour. CS was very good.

Frankly, I was disappointed with this tea. It’s not the tea that I grew up with little tasteless.

I am a daily tea drinker. After my local grocery store got flaky about stocking their fair trade earl grey tea, I needed to change course. I first saw Taylors in the store maybe three years ago. All of their teas taste excellent, are fair trade, and are reasonably priced. That's my trifecta! Sadly, I can't seem to find at least this flavor, my favorite, locally anymore. I can't even find it in Whole Foods or Amazon Fresh! So, I buy it here. At least I'm mitigating my carbon footprint by reusing the first tin I bought and treating these bags as loose leaf refills. I brew two 12oz. cups from one 1/3rd full infuser. Although I will keep looking for it locally, I will probably "Subscribe (something else I avoid) and Save" since this tea is my regular favorite. But how is the tea itself you ask? It's excellent, full of flavor. How many times have you smelled an alluring tea only to taste it and be let down by the lack of flavor? This bucks that trend with taste on par with the aroma. I also drink bags of the English Breakfast (red box) and Scottish Breakfast (blue) when I'm at work. The loose leaf only works at home, and serves as a bit of a reward for making it to the weekend, or (if I'm lucky) a WFH day.

Ho ricevuto una confezione di produzione gennaio 2017 e scadenza gennaio 2020. Logicamente il risultato dell'infusione è quasi acqua sporca. Nessun aroma. Gusto per niente persistente.. Prezzo elevato considerata la media che si paga presso un negozio fisico. L'ho preso su amazon semplicemente perché non l'ho trovato disponibile presso il rivenditore della mia zona.

Taylors Tee ist einfach lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen. Werde auch noch andere Sorten probieren.
