Excellent high temp paint!
Used this paint to coat cat back exhaust system on my truck. This is some super tough paint. Exhaust looks great and paint holding up flawlessly. Be sure to properly clean and prep surface to be painted and you can expect great results from this excellent quality paint. Also have used the POR brake caliper paint with similar success.

Be careful to choose air-dry or heat cured because they have both.
I have used POR coatings several times over the years. You get what you pay for and this stuff is pretty good. I have never had a failure using this expensive coating. This is no ordinary paint. This review is for the aluminum color high temperature paint. Other reviewers have complained about this paint failing to dry properly. What they missed is this compound does not cure properly until it has been baked at temperatures above 300'F for at least 10 minutes. It paints as a liquid but cures as a powder paint. It must be baked-on. After that it is quite hard and durable. It kills rust. Be careful to read the label and directions. If anything, the company should make this clearer in their labeling and how to use, mode de-employ. They do make a conventional aluminum or silver coating that air dries and does not require heat to cure. I found it elusive to find, however.

BEST high temp paint available, period!
Sprayed a 57 year old Austin Healey exhaust manifold with this paint following the directions perfectly. I noticed an "exhaust to tailpipe" bent stud and decided to replace it. It refused to come out while trying ALL normal methods. I finally took a torch as final effort, heated the exhaust almost cherry red, thinking I would have to repaint the whole manifold. I was able to break the bent stud loose and as I let the manifold cool, the area I got so hot, looked identical to the rest of it!!! The paint was still perfect in color, adhesion and looked perfect!! Great paint!!

I hold POR15 at a somewhat high standard but not sure what I am getting now
POR-15 High Temperature Paint, High Heat Resistant Paint, Weather and Moisture Resistant POR15 advertisements used to be to the point. Seals against rust, apply to clean prepared surface, needs a top coat to prevent weather erosion. etc. I thought I was buying the same product but this one seems different, and very little information on if it is the same as the original POR15 I have used in the past. So whatever it is I bought, it went on ok, used a brush to coat some metal that was prepped and painted with POR15. It seems ok. Time will tell if it was successful. It still has the same qualities of drying hard, though in the past over time the POR15 tended to "soften" and would peel off. I didn't expect that I am assuming this is the same product and as we all apply things differently, I may have done something to cause the peeling after 10 years but going soft was not expected. I WIll RECOMMEND this with caution that you research the product well before purchase. I do not know the seller nor did I get any money or product for my random review. 240916 1103

Durable black grill paint.
Very good brush on black paint for high heat grills. Air spray is even better.

Used it for caliper paint, worked great
Used this to paint the calipers on my C5. I wanted a "stock" looking gray. Not a fancy shiny silver that is available in caliper paint. This worked great, looks great and should last just as well as caliper paint since its hight heat and solvent resistant.

This product worked extremely well on my fireplace insert It had old bronze louvers now the black pops out at you, this flat finish is very hard to find. Make sure you open up your windows, as does smell for a bit. Wear gloves and do not spill onto anything you don't want painted. Did require 2 coats as directed.

Very pleased with this paint. I painted my snowmobile muffler and it looks new. This paint is thick. Does not run. It's a ton thicker then spray paint. I love it but it's crazy expensive.

Followed the instructions and used the POR Rust inhibitor. Scuffed it up and gave it two coats with the POR High Temp Paint. It looks great. Make sure you use a quality brush because you could get a bit of streaking. Love it.

Followed all steps according to directions. Scuffed, cleaned & dried new exhaust. 2 coats of por15 HT, let it sit for 24hrs, install on vehicle & idle for 15 for curing. Only to have it flake off 🤦🏾♂️. What a waste of time. This paint maybe good for other purposes but definitely not for exhaust. What disappointment.
