Brilliant book
Finally a healthy recipe book that has easy to follow instructions and I can honestly say that there are only a couple of meals that I don't like ( only because I don't like banana, so will substitute for something else)Well written, some great advice on well being and exercise.Great value for money. So pleased I bought it ☺️ Let the healthy eating begin!

Brilliant diet aide
This is a fab diet book. We like to cook our own food but doing that and calorie counting is impossible with most cook books. Not this one! The recipes are truly tasty and calorie counted to boot. So far we’ve had- chocolate orange porridge, peri peri chicken with crispy potatoes, Asian salmon burgers with petite pois & potato mash, & Chinese pork noodles. All have been super tasty and super cheap. This book also has lots and lots of info on nutrition and calories, exercise, mind set and so much other stuff to help fight the flab. I’ve tried every ‘plan’ out there but the simplest way to diet is calories in being less than calories out. And this book helps with every meal of the day and snacks too, to keep your calorie count in check. The plan that is referred to is simply 28 days of eating food from this book in a varied way and so that the spring onions you buy for one recipe can be used in another so there’s no waste. There are plenty of vegetarian recipes. Don’t know what another reviewer was on about 🙄Plus Dr Ranj Singh is an all-round decent chap!

Well written, good practical advice
This is well written with lots of practical advice, some of which is common sense but its good to be reminded occasionally. Gives a shopping list of what's required each week too with nothing out of the ordinary. Some recipes a little fiddly if you're not a confident cook. I can never understand the need to give pancake or muffin recipes when you'd probably never bother on a diet but there you go. You can pick and choose your recipes for each meal accordingly. The message seems to be eat healthily, keep an eye on the portions (use smaller plates!), cut the alcohol during the week and have a couple of days of low calories.

Delicious, easy to cook
Absolutely love this recipe book! I am very interested in recipes and have made several of these. I find these delicious, clearly tried and tested - as they work if you follow the steps. The recipes are nutritionally balanced and introduce a lovely variety of tasty veggie dishes. I really like the calorie information and the cost guide. My meat eating family has said they enjoy the variety of veggie dishes and are very happy for me to cook them as often as I like. The next step will be to train them to make these meals too!

Fantastic book but lacks timings for recipes
I have loved following the menu plans in this book and have lost a stone in the first 5 weeks. However it would be useful to label the vegetarian options and the length of time the meal will take to prepare.Well written and easy to follow instructions and I have enjoyed shaking things up with the prep lanes menus at the back.
