Is hammerite copper an oil based enamel? it sounds like it is but i don't see this as part of the product description.

Clean up with laquer thinner and doubt it would be classified as an enamel. It is fortified with glasss flakes to resist abrasion.

Can it be used on wood??

I have never used it on wood because it was developed to mimic a steel surface texture and inhibit rust. The high cost is for these properties.
