Section 8 - Xbox 360

I only use my 360 for single player gaming... the campaigns and story mode for any game.This one looked promising... but it just... lacks.Think of the Spartans from the Halo series, and the ODSTs from Halo as well. Combine them. That's what the section 8 soldiers... kind of are.The story is there but, it just lacks. I don't know how else to say it. It never drew me in. Pretty sure I'm about a third of the way through, and have already moved on to other games.It has it's fun moments, but they seem short lived. It's a time filler. If I need to blow some time but not get overly engaged- this game is great for that.Pretty sure I paid under $10 for this. At that price, can't say I feel ripped off. Definitely wouldn't pay more than that.I cannot speak to the multiplayer. It might be amazing. Don't know, haven't tried it and wont. For the single player campaign though... it just feels cheap, under funded, under developed. Kinda' like they took pieces of other popular game's stories and patched them all into this game. I mean frankenstein patched, not professionally crafted and well thought out patched. lolIf you're bored and can get this for about $10 go for it. If not, don't bother. There are other and better games out there.

I was expecting a lot from this game...not so much from the single player campaign but from the multiplayer. Now, the all the multiplayer aspects are there, but is nobody else online to play with. I played the demo on xbox live and had a blast. Sadly, this wasn't the case with the full game. The lack of ability to start a game with members in your party and be on the same team is horrible. Its possible, but only against bots. There is so much potential...but sadly this game missed its mark.

The game looks good and has a creative theme but the plot has 0 development (if you really care about that) and most of the weapons physics make no sense, i.e. it's easier to kill someone with a pistol than assault rifle and easier to kill someone with a shotgun than rocket launcher. And since when do armored vehicles (which are impossible to drive adeptly, btw) loaded with weapons need to be escorted by infantry? And why are they so susceptible to small arms fire? I guess the definition of "armored" is different in the future. It's a big advantage that one can just respawn, but so much time is wasted "burning in" and running to the action that you might as well give up under certain circumstances.

For this game getting bad reviews I was actually surprised it was pretty fun the game mechanics are a bit stiff at times but overall this is a game to check out once and come on for the price you get a full story and multiplayer worth the value

I'll be completely honest when i bought this game used for $6.40 and i figured it would have a few scratches or maybe alot but it came and look like brand new so I'm very pleased with this purchase and definitely recommend getting...

A solid game that deserves more attention than it got. Really diverse and immersive multiplayer FPS. Unique "DCM" Dynamic Combat Missions in MP which make for a high replay value for this game. Graphic Top Notch. Overall 4/5. Get it, love it.

this game is not only one of the most underrated it is also a hell of a lot of fun, i only wish that i could play it again, thank you.

This game lacked much in it's story mode but the multiplayer was a lot of fun and I felt it was slightly innovative as the games change multiple times within a single match.
