Holy Crap Cereal Cup, 1.5 Ounce (Pack of 12)

This product truly lived up to its name. It's way overpriced and tastes awful (AWFUL!). There very little cereal (which is generous to call it) in an oversize cup. My wife tried it with hot water; I use 2% milk. I stirred for 5 minutes, and it was still a $3.00 a cup mess -- a pinch of birdseed floating in a pool of milk. That just doesn't cut it for me. There are better products.

I'd bring this on a trip where I could add more to it at a hotel and use the container as a meal bowl. Otherwise, hardly filling for even a snack.

Holy Crap is right!!!! This cereal is delicious. When I ordered it I didn't look very closely and thought it was going to be majorly oatmeal which is my meal of choice any time of day. When I opened the container, it was very dark (chia and hemp seeds) and even though the ingredients sounded wonderful I thought it might be too healthy tasting even for me. I couldn't have been more wrong. It is delicious with a bare hint of sweetness from the few cranberries and raisins and has a nice sort of crunch from the chia seeds. I added just a tiny bit of honey because I like mine sweeter, but it's nice to to able to add it because if it comes too sweet you surely can't adjust that. This cereal is loaded with fiber (9g), calcium and iron and I am totally hooked on it. At 180 calories and all that goodness, you can eat two!

We soooo wanted to like this cereal - but it was awful. It had the consistency of cement and had little flavor. We even tried different ways to prepare it, based on the directions and recommendations on-line. Still couldn't eat it. Definitely don't recommend buying a case before you at least try a single serving.

You can heat with water and make a hot cereal but it is really icky looking. Clear jelly stuff. It tastes great just don't look. I prefer to mix it dry with yogurt, like adding granola. I think maybe like cold cereal with milk will be good also haven't tried it yet. The taste is awesome and there is some good stuff in there. It definitely lives up to its name!

I like these individual cups. Holy crap tastes good and fills me up. It's not sugary, though, so if you're looking for sugary then look somewhere else.
