Best pot!
I love this! I was looking for a pot without a lot of plastic used for making coffee and tea. This is it. I am going to check on getting an extra stainless steel insert so when I make coffee in the morning I can make my loose leaf tea soon after. I like that you can take the insert out to heat water for other things. I also love that it keeps the water warm for plenty of time. I also love that it beeps to tell me when it is turning off. If I could give this little pot more stars I would.

Instant gratification
Found this product to be extremely useful easy to clean and whether you are making coffee or tea it always comes out perfect not mention fast. It’s been going strong and am so glad Amazon has it available. I’ve brewed coffee and was surprised at the taste for the first time I noticed the difference in taste in comparison to the kcup version. One it didn’t have that plastic slight taste. When I brew the tea I usually also purchase from Amazon the organic loose tea version it’s perfectly brewed it always you to set strong and mild to liking.

No more black plastic
I was very happy with my Instant Pot single serve coffee maker until I decided the health risks from the black plastic weren't worth taking the risk. I decided to try the Buydeem because of its glass kettle and BPA free plastic parts and I'm very happy so far. I had an issue the first few times I used the machine and their customer service rep was very responsive and walked me through the steps. It turns out it was human error on my part and not the coffee maker itself. Now that I've got the hang of it, I get my 2 hot cups of coffee with just a little more work than my single serve. It's a bit on the expensive side but for me its worth it so my coffee doesn't taste like melted plastic.

Buydeem electric pot
I have had this pot since September, and find it to be an excellent pot I usually use it 3 times per day, and have had no problems with it so far. The infuser they supply with the pot is pretty fine so the only tea that gets through is the fine powder. I had baskets by a company called Finum that are extra fine mesh screen at home already, so for the teas that have some powder, I just strain it again with the Finum basket in the cup. The mesh used by Finum is so fine that not even the powder gets through.I did notice that some reviewers were complaining that the heating plate on the bottom of the pot was not stainless steel and sent photos to show the rust they have on the plate. That is not rust showing in the pictures, it is mineral deposits from the water they are using. I have very hard water in my area, and I am not able to install a water softener. The water filter I have doesn’t filter out minerals, only stuff like lead, chlorine, cysts, etc. so I get the same thing they are showing in the pictures, although in one of the pictures there is so much build up I wouldn’t even drink anything out of that pot until it was cleaned. There are a few thing you can do to clean the pots to make them look like new again. The easiest way is to purchase from Amazon a product called Clean and Revive by Astonish. You just bring a pot of water to near boil, then add a Tbl. Spoon of this stuff and let it sit for a couple of hours, and all of the deposits should disappear. If not, do it again. Another thing you can use is a product called Bon-Ami. It is a super mild cleanser that is basically guaranteed not to scratch it is so mild. It won’t even scratch the glass on products. I have been using this stuff for many years and have never had it scratch anything yet. It is in powder form, like other cleansers, and costs about $2.00 a can. I found out about Bon -Ami from my mother years ago and I always have a can available for delicate cleaning purposes. I use it for everything, especially my electric tabletop oven (glass window included). I wouldn’t recommend it for non stick pans though, because of their special coating, even though I have used it on older pans that were pretty shot, and didn’t notice any additional damage from using it. After you get the pot back to shape and looking like new, I just use a bottle brush and spray in some Dawn spray foam, and any tea residue and mineral deposits are gone. The thing is, is that the pot has to be done regularly every 2 or 3 days with at least the dawn cleaning. That only takes a few minutes. The only reason I gave this pot 4 stars instead of 5 is the manufacturer does not give the 212 degree boil setting any steeping feature other than boil. Most black teas and herbal teas recommend using 212 degree water and steeping it for 5 minutes. The manufacturer does not allow you to customize the steep setting at all. They don’t even have a preset steep function for this setting. On this setting you have to time it yourself. I just don’t understand that if they are going to give this feature to all of the other settings they just don’t include it for the 212 Degree settingI still recommend this pot, though. It is a very good pot at a good price. The glass used is quality glass, and the heating plate really is stainless steel.

Makes a good cup of tea!
This purchase was an upgrade from my electric water kettle. The coffee/tea (or ginseng, fill in the ____) strainer is great!!! The system seems to be working well after 1 month. I love the temperature settings for green tea or even cocoa. (Plus with money saved on buying bulk bagged tea as opposed to packets - it’s paid for itself already!)

Won't buy again product or from company
While they were nice to provide with a refund after 30 days but with about $30 restocking fee, the product lasted 30 days before it became a total electrical hazard as it kept tripping the fuse in every outlet. No support or warranty, they requested a photo of how I tripped the fuses, sent a bunch yet no agreement for replacement from them. Felt like we were going in circles until Amazon stepped in to allow me to return it but with a $30 loss for something I didn't do or broke the product. The concerning part, if you don't have an outlet that gets triggered fast enough you could get electrocuted. Why i won't buy any products from this company just not safe. I'd rather live then get zapped.

Great Design. Excellent Cup of Tea!
The size and profile of this tea maker is a perfect fit on the counter. It has a slender profile and is easy to use. We have never enjoyed making tea from fresh leaves so much - perfectly steeped. Use tea bags if you wish, but loose leaf is so much better and is easy in this unit. I have a whole new appreciation for a good cup of tea. Think my coffee days are over - and I brewed that from fresh ground beans every day.
