Warm
Fits perfect and provides warmth. Great for the beginning of the cooler season.

Best Neoprene Vest
I am a recreational, year round swimmer in an indoor pool and this is the only vest I wear for warmth and flexibility while swimming. It fits very well, has a strong zipper, keeps me warm when the water is cool to colder, and functions well in the warmer months of the year. The price is very reasonable for the high quality product.

a quick fix, a few nitpicks, but i like it!
i'm a fireplug kinda guy, and was initially a bit dismayed when i tried on this vest... it was *tight* even i measured my chest... however, this is actually good if i'm just wearing the vest... HOWEVER, if you intend to wear this vest over another suit DEFINITELY order one size larger... i'm also 68" with a short torso, and this vest *barely* reaches my board shorts... it also does NOT have a waist cord loop to prevent the vest from riding up if you're swimming laps or swimming for your board or just plain snorkeling... also, the arm holes are cut a bit small (but not too small) for my big shoulders (from swimming laps every morning) just keep these things in mind: short torso length, no waist loop, and small-cut arm holes... if you're not fireplug pudge like me, then this vest will work for you... the tight fit works for me however, and i can swim a mile with no irritation... will have to sew in a loop though... i did; see the pic - took a short bit of black paracord, melted the ends together, then sewed to the back of the bottom seam (ran the machine back and forth about a dozen times) - voila! much improved! however, considering that these vests are zippered and are well-sewn with good construction, i'm giving it a 4-star rating... and if i wear it out in a year, i'll order another one!

Warm and easy to swim in
I bought the woman's vest (size XL = size 14) and the jammers (mens size 2XL). I am 62 years old, 5' 8" tall, and weigh about 150 lbs. I bought this 2-piece wetsuit because the swimming pool water was just too cold for me. When I got the vest and jammers, I tried it on at home and they both seemed to fit just fine -- just a little big and easy to put on. When I wore my 2-piece wetsuit in the pool, I was NOT cold at all. In fact, I was a little warm and I liked the feeling! The suit does add some buoyancy (even though I don't need it). When I started to swim a regular freestyle, the suit did not interfere with my stroke, but it did slow me down. It was like wearing a super-drag suit. In the water, the suit seems to get larger. The draw string in the jammers helps to hold them on. After swimming in them, I realized that I should have probably purchased a smaller vest and probably have purchased a smaller jammer. But, I like the large sizes I purchased because they are very easy to put on. I usually wear a woman's XL or size 16 or 18. The vest is size 14, but I think it runs large. I have been using the vest and jammers for several months. I keep both of them in my pool locker. They both hold so much water that they take about 3 days to dry out. Especially the jammers which seem to hold more water. For this reason, I have stopped using the jammers and just wear the vest over my swim suit. This works very well. The vest keeps me safe from the initial cold shock when getting into the water. I swim 10 lengths with the vest on, then take it off and swim an additional 20 lengths. I love to feel the difference of swimming with a drag-vest and then without it. It motivates me to swim faster! My suggestion to anyone planning to purchase the vest and jammers is to just buy the vest at first. It may be all you need. The size 14 vest is a little large, but I'm happy with the size because it is very easy to put on and take off. If you need more warmth, purchase the jammers.

Best fit for a woman’s shape!
Finally, a vest I can breathe in! I swim in an outdoor pool in central Florida. I’m sensitive to the chilly water even in the summer and have to wear layers of neoprene. Every unisex vest I tried constricted my lungs but this vest was amazing because it is cut for a women’s shape. It’s great on warmer days over a rash guard and good on colder days over/under a wetsuit. Thank you for the great vest!

Snuggy fit
Thanks to some kind soul's Amazon review that explained why the fit should be quite tight, I made the right sizing decision. Vest is short at the waist (not for swimming anyway) and quite tight. Tight = warmth. The reviewers' comments (verified purchases) helped me a great deal in deciding to purchase this product. Thank you people. Good product, good return policy, and fast delivery. Will purchase this brand again.

Don't buy it if you're using it for swimming - lots of chafing.
I bought this vest for open water swimming. I thought it would provide some warmth in the frigid waters that I swim, plus some buoyancy. Well, it did provide some buoyancy, but not really that much warmth. One of the buyers mentioned that it ride up while swimming in it, and he/she was right. It really didn't stay put. I used plenty of Body Glide on my armpits and neck to prevent any chafing. After swimming in it, I got chafing badly on my armpit area and the back of my neck. I guess I would only recommend it for brief swimming. I'm certainly not going to use it again.

Great for elderly water aerobis
Gave this to a 92 yr old youngster. "Mister" LOVES it so much that he even wears it around the house ( it's dry of course) when we are not at the pool. Because of his recommendation, I bought me one. Now a lot of the seniors who exercise daily at the pool are ordering one for themselves. Even at 82 to 84° The water is still pretty chilly for some of these folks and this keeps the core warm without binding. I would suggest ordering one size up from your normal size and if you're chunky and I don't want a super tight fit consider 2 sizes up. I'm 5'4 115 lbs and got a 6 and it is tight like it's supposed to be. Others would find it uncomfortable. "Mister" normally wears a large but I had to exchange it for an XLG so he would be more comfortable.
