I bought this to extend the cable for a DIY project and it worked perfectly. Just make sure you match orientation for your display.

Count the pins, and if it doesn't work, flip it over.
If the ribbon doesn't work the first time, flip it over and it should work. It was a good tool to make an extension cord for a display project for the case I wanted it to be in.

No connector adapter!
I'm sure the cable works just fine, however i can't use it because they didn't send the connector adapter... It says it comes with both and that's why I ordered it. So without the adapter it's completely useless..
