Better than expected
My project was to build a folding table top next to my utility sink for grooming my dogs. I bought these for the project but because I didn't think I would have space on the back side to squeeze the release lever, I returned them I made a bi-fold panel system to hold up the table, which turned out weak, cumbersome and unstable. In the process of making it - all from scratch and with no pattern other than a design in my head - the table top got cut down smaller which meant that I would be able to easily reach over the table to press the release. So I Reordered these brackets and was happy when they arrived a day earlier than predicted.Installing the brackets took me some time however because I ran into a few issues. I'll preface this explanation by saying that I had a handyman build the table top and the foundation structure attached to the side of my utility sink. With that in place I figured I, a diy-type senior woman, could do the rest. This is the main problem I ran into:First I installed the brackets to the plywood panel attached to the side of the sink, making sure they were vertically level. All four holes in the bracket were easy to access.Next I placee the table top on the brackets and screwed UP into the table top. That alone was kinda hard but once I resorted to pre-drilling, it was easier.BUT, when I tested folding the table down, they did not fold into themselves as expected and it took me 4 tries to get this right - both changing the position of the longer arms and then finally changing the position of the shorter arm at the side panel. There isn't any play in how the brackets fold into themselves so it had to be perfect or else the table would not fold all the way down flat against the sink. Finally, I thought it was strange that one of the four screw holes for the long arm of the bracket - the part that attaches to the table top - is actually hidden behind the release mechanism and no positioning of the bracket arm allowed me to put a screw in that hole. Oh well, I got three screws in and it's sturdy enough. The end result is perfect - sturdy, stable, super simple to operate and exactly what I wanted.I'm uploading pictures to show my final product - I'm pretty proud of myself :-)

Seem to work OK...
I used them for a garage shelf that has no need to fold down and didn't need to support much weight. But I wanted to make a shelf that was very wide, and these seemed like the best choice for a wide shelf. The only problem I had with mounting them was that it's hard to use a drill to screw in the fasteners, as the 45 degree supports are kinda in the way. Either need a long screw-driver or a long extension if drilling in the screws...

Best brackets ever!!!
So, been looking for quality shelf brackets for quite some time. I already purchased 3 other brands and they all had issues with quality, secure, sturdy and look/craftsmanship. Someone else recommend this particular bracket and am absolutely in luv with this product/brand.Made with heavy duty stainless steel that is of high quality and looks amazing. The bonus feature is the L Angle wall mount that is collapsible. I have a set in my work bench and another one in my patio and the ability to lock and unlock is a great feature. I plan to buy another set for my office. The product is heavy duty and can hold an enormous amount of weight. It was very easy to install - all parts needed were included. The brackets are very very easy to fold and provide any extra space you may need and just as easy to use & lock into place. I highly recommend!!!

Really impressed with this
I have a 40yo sailboat and things are always falling apart. The most recent thing were the hinges securing the fold-down table in the salon that was secured to the centerpiece by a bunch of piano hinges. In terms of weight support, these weren't the best, but it was very sturdy regarding lateral movement (which is the thing you need to worry about the most on a sailboat). I was concerned that this new replacement would end up getting ripped out of the support with a little wiggling, but I decided it was worth trying out.I'm glad I did. It's rock-solid. I was very impressed with how well it fit, how easy it was to install, and how much leg room I ended up gaining. Plus it's stainless steel, which is really important on a sailboat. It exceeded my expectations in all areas. Very pleased with this purchase.

Not well made
Bought two sets and one was damaged. Both had previously been opened and has screws lose in the box. One set was damaged so I had to return. Once I got the second set I realized it had also been opened and had loose screws in the box. The product is cheap and not well made. I’m guessing this is why all the boxes are opened. People realize that they are not well made and return them.

RV table replacement project
I removed the dinette from my travel trailer but I kept the table. I wanted to be able to fold the table down to make a small bed where the table was. I removed the donut off the floor and used these fold-away brackets to hold the table up. Time will tell how sturdy it will be, but for now, it is holding up my 24-pound table well and folds quickly. Problem solved.
