Not for headsets with mics.
Seems decent but did not work for the Xbox One stereo headset adapter. It needs the "3 post" cord.

No issues. I used this to connect the IR out from a Logitech Harmony hub to my ATON DLA4 speaker switch IR in.

Not for Xbox
I bought this hoping it would work for Xbox and my turtle beach headset but it doesn't. They can hear me but I can't hear them back. Luckily I bought two cords and the other one from a different supplier works very well and I'll be returning this one. It was just very irritating and inconvenient because I had to wait a week for this cord and it doesn't even work. But I always think ahead and ordered two to be safe. Do not order for Xbox. You will run into problems.

Hard to find these anymore.
Did what I needed it to do. Fairly thick conducting wires inside. I am glad products like this are available, because it was difficult to find.

Using this for a camera PC
I'm using this for a camera PC cable to an external flash sync and Canon 80d, didn't think it would work but it does. They key is this cable is mono which is needed (I'm pretty sure that is...) I believe I tried a stero but it did not work but I am not 100% of that.

No length specs
Not all 2.5mm are created equal in size. This one was too long for my standard application.
