Keeps water our of your ears while diving!
I use these every time I Scuba dive to help keep water out of my ear canals when swiveling my head around to look at things. They help trap an air bubble in your ear canal when inserted above the surface, then hold it there (keeping sea water out) during your dive. They do not seal or plug your ear in a way that would create harmful pressure at depth, and are safe to use down to 130 ft depth (the deepest I have been with these on). I use a long strand of dental floss as a lanyard, with the ends tied to the plugs, to help keep them from floating away should one become dislodged when I jump into the water (has happened twice). I have used these aqua plugs on about 80 dives now and they have become part of my “required” dive gear. No more ear infections during dive vacations!!

We're back diving!
My daughter (9yrs old) and son (6 yrs old) have been fighting ruptured ear drums for 6 months as a result of having several ear tubes when they were very young. After trying several ear plugs (even ones that said they were for diving) they still couldn't get the right ear plug for diving. The plugs would fall out or still get water in their ears even after wearing 2 swim caps over the plugs. They finally had to sit out of the water completely for 2 months for their ears to heal. During this time, I searched for any ear plug that we haven't tried. I found these and SO GLAD I did! They are back in the water with no problem at all. Both kids are diving from springboard and platforms, and so far no water in the ears and plugs haven't fallen out!I highly recommend these plugs for any kids or adults that need a tight fit with their ear plugs. We purchased the size small for both of our kids, and it seems to be the perfect fit. I'm buying several more pair since our kids have already misplaced a pair!THANK YOU!!

Lets you go spearfishing and surfing all at once.
All kidding aside, I don't spear fish. But I do bodyboard and didn't find anything that worked including silicone putty. Putty conforms to your ear's cupola, won't stay in, and needs continued pressure to seal. Started with the medium size JBL Seals then switched to large for a more snug fit. Blow out then insert the plugs as directed. Definitely feel a better seal with the large size, I do have to re-check/press the seals inward while surfing, but so far feel much less water in my ears overall. After surfing I rinse out both ears and apply two drops of swimmer's drying solution to each. So far no plugged feeling, no pain. So far so good...

Smaller than you think
I ordered the "largest" size and have relatively small ears. It did not fill my ear canal. I as afraid to use then in water. I believe they need to make at least 2 sizes larger. I would rather have them be too large and go down a size, than knowing their largest size was too small.

AWESOME plugs!
I have had 2 surgeries to repair my left ear drum. I HATE most ear plugs because they are bulky or I can hear. These are the answer! I white water raft and kayak as well as leisurely swim. I was worried I would NOT be able to enjoy these activities after my second surgery. This product helps me to engage in these loved activities! I use Docs professional plugs as well but like these better. Be fore warned. When your ear gets wet the sensation is freaky! It feels like the water is going in but it's just because most of your outer ear is exposed. I went down a slide over and over again.

YAASSSSS! Finally!
Only took 45 years but finally a pair of plugs that stay in my ear. I've never had any ear plug type item stay in my ear - ever. I recently dove into the triathlon world and started swim lessons. Biggest factor for not having proper swim technique has been water constantly flowing into my ear every time I turn my head. My husband found these and they actually WORK! They stay put, keep the water out, allow me to still hear. If you have small ear canals these may just work for you. I have the small size.

Not for large ears
I can see why everyones raving about them, design wise they are excellent, but if you have a large head and/or ears, they will not work, i got the largest size avaliable and they will not seal.

Not for us.
We cannot get these to stay in my daughters ear. She is 5 and wondering if she is just too small for these. She has a perforated ear drum so falling out in the shower and needing to put them back in with water being the plug is not working. It seems like a great product - just not for us.
