Coastal Silkworms 1 LB Pre-Made Silkworm Chow (16oz) Mulberry Food

I bought this product to feed my silk worms. It was a great texture. I raised my silk worms from eggs. They were even able to consume it directly from the egg, even with their very tiny, weak jaws! Very happy with the product!

My children were starving!!! Happy this came on time, they will be fat full and happy in no time with their literal MRE lol thank you

***3 stars due to shipping speed*** This stuff works really well. I was able to grow my silkworms from tiny babies to large feeder ready adults with very minimal losses compared to other products I tried using. I would recommend, however, buying this directly from Coastal Silkworms as through Amazon the shipping, albeit much cheaper, took about 15 days and that is too long for this fresh food. It appears to still have arrived somewhat moist thanks to cooler temps, but definitely did not arrive as fresh as when I purchased directly from Coastal Silkworms.

I have always liked Costal Silkworms. Every time I have ordered silkworms they have always been very healthy! I’ve starting breeding silkworms and the first try failed as I prepared the food wrong so when my eggs were about to hatch again I decided to buy the premade silkworm food. Unfortunately it was runny and sticky and there was no way I could use it with baby silkworms so I tossed it. I’m choosing to believe the food went bad in shipment as I do love this company! I’ll just buy the powdered food from now on!

First batch of silkworms died. This stuff dries out quickly. Hard to find the larva amongst the hardened food. Classroom project where mulberry leaves are unavailable. Disappointing.
