You definitely need to be tech savy to install this alarm
Hey, i purchased this, and installed it today. First issue, you need to have your wifi in 2.4gz not 5gz. That's not a problem for some, you have to access your router as an admin, change the setting, and when it's all set up, change it back again and the alarm system will still work. The instructions are very vague. It took me a while to add the host panel. Also for example, nothing to tell you how to turn the PIR Motion detecter hardware on. And I winged it to connect each one. (You need to name them, so you know.) Also, change the door sensors in the app to that. Once I started to get the hang of it, it all fell in to place. My only moan now it's all up and running is the outdoor siren, that has to be wired to the control panel, means you can't have the control panel by the front door, as the wire for the siren is so short. So I have my control panel at the top of my stairs, the siren out the window. The remote control turns the alarm on and off. 4 out of 5 stars. It could be better, and have an outside box to show people there is an alarm and the siren within it. Hope this helps. 140 quid. Worth it!

I was sent a second hand control panel had scratches and the sound was cracking
When I unboxed this everything was perfect until I opened the control panel it looked like used had scratches and no protection on the display screen the sound was cracking and now even passcode I've setted to Arm or Disarm it doesn't recognise it and don't send me messages or call me. I have to keep setting it every few days. Tried contacting Amazon number of times but no response from amazon eventually I got a call from amazon and explained the problem and the guy just cut me off until today nothing is done and I'm not happy with amazon and the supplier of this alarm system

Not as good as I expected
The alarm system seems to work ok, and once you uderstand the setup procedure, its easy to add sensors. But there are problems with this alarm. 1- if you add external sounder it chirps when activating or de activating alarm. Not good late at night. 2- its does not keep good time, always wrong. 3- the remote fob buttons are not marked correctly, the at home activation button is marked wrong, and when pressed it activates the alarm, the panic button is the activate alarm when at home. 4- the external sounder is not loud enough. Small changes would have made this aolarm a lot better.

Really good value for money.
Had one for several years but I moved house and had to get another and was happy to buy the same again. It works very well and is excellent value for money. I don't think the manual is as bad as some others say, but there are some helpful videos on youtube if in doubt. One thing I did find is that on mine, when you start to pair a device it says something like "pairing device" then you pair the device and it again says "pairing device" rather than saying "device paired", so you get angry trying to figure out why it hasn't paired when in fact it has. I notice that this is not a problem on the youtube videos so I think I have a different, slightly messed up version of the firmware. Don't let it put you off though.

After 6 months of use - many more good points than bad, Very good value for what it does.
Excellent for such a low price. The instructions are written in finest Chinglish and border on incomprehensible. However, there are lots of videos on YouTube showing you what to do. Once you understand the way it works, programming commands make sense and are easy to handle. It is not programmable remotely by SMS as with our predecessor alarm but a limited number of commands can be done by phone using your phone's DTMF keypad. The standard audible alarm is - inaudible. If you want a loud Woo Woo, you will need to buy that option separately. Given that public usually ignores the audible alarm anyway, this is not great problem as the unit will text AND phone you when triggered. The remote radio plips struggle to communicate with the control unit if that unit is sited too far from the exit door of the building. The batteries supplied for the wireless PIR's and alarm triggers run flat in an instant - once fitted with Duracell replacements, you get around 3 months out of them.

Great value comprehensive Alarm
Looks a bit intimadating to set upat first but it's not, a very comprehensive alarm that works great installed in our Villa in Spain which is concrete construction and unit received signals from every room. Highly recommended even comes with four remonte to arm disarm and panic button.

Our granddaughter is at that age where she likes to explore everything inside and out whether mom and dad are asleep or awake. My stepson and DIL were at their wits end. I remembered my sister had sensors when her kids were young that would go off whenever a door or window was opened. So I started looking for a set that did that, but everything I found were complete security systems. So I thought, well, a little extra security isn't a bad thing. This comes with a main unit, a wired siren, 5 motion sensors, 12 door and window sensors, 4 remotes, and a power supply. I was actually surprised at how affordable it was for everything it comes with. The primary reason for choosing this system was the 12 door and window sensors. Now when our granddaughter tries to "escape," I mean "explore," mom and dad hear the alarm and get notified. They used the motion sensors near the doors and the hallway just outside her room. This way they know when she's coming and going from her room, but also, if a sensor doesn't catch her, there are several backups in various places. Another reason I chose this system was that it was wireless. There was no drilling or having to open walls. The installation was easy and straightforward. The built-in battery means that even if the electricity goes out, the system still works. You can even use the system to call emergency services. Another neat feature is that you can set a timer to turn the system on or off and even set it to bypass certain sensors. Overall, it's a good system that is affordable. The most important part is that it keeps our granddaughter safe.
