BUY THIS RIGHT NOW. (Not a paid review)
The media could not be loaded. First of all, I bought this with my own money and I have no connection to this seller or manufacturer whatsoever.I've had back pain for years and I've never been able to afford "luxury" items like this (£40 is a luxury when you're broke). But recently I decided to get one and this seemed like the best design at this price.I definitely wanted one without a battery because that sounds like a house fire just waiting to happen. And this is perfect. Great remote. No battery. Fair price. And no leather (often that can be mislabeled cat and dog skin from China).Having said that I still disconnect unused devices if I'm not at home. Also very importantly, the power connection is two cables that meet on the cable (see photo) - not a fixed plug in the pillow itself where the connector would be almost guaranteed to break if you leaned on it. Very nice.I can tell you now that this feels amazing and that the weight of the pillow itself is enough to enjoy a massage (gentle but very nice). It's pretty heavy. Like a small cat. Maybe 2.5 kilo but I didn't measure exactly. Plus there's the strap which can help you apply more pressure. You can hold the strap with your hands or you can very easily add a Velcro extension so the strap can wrap around your stomach. (Any double sided Velcro that's 50mm wide should work perfectly. Just order a meter off Amazon and cut it to size.) If you're slim you might not even need an extension. I'm 80 kilo and it almost fits me.On my neck the pressure is great with just the pillow. But lower back a bit of extra pressure is nicer but not a must.I'm wearing a thick jumper because it's cold and this device has no problem massaging through the jumper.I can't really comment on pain relief because I'm sure it varies a lot between people with different issues. And I don't even officially know what my issue is exactly. But this is much better than any other devices I have tried, like a tennis ball or a towel or those big foam rollers with bits sticking out of them. The noise is very minimal. A gentle "whurrwhurrwhurr..." sound. Much less than most household air fans. I can easily watch a movie or fall asleep with it even if it's right next to my ears.It has a long 2 meter cable. And the connection between the power supply and pillow is very secure. You need to push very hard to get the two cables to snap together. So it's very unlikely to disconnect during use.And a standard 5.5mm cable connector so you can easily replace the power supply in the future if needed - or possibly run it off a higher quality 12v battery that is external and not some cheap unknown garbage built into the unit (which normally gives products a very limited life span as well). Or it should work great with a 12v car adaptor I think. I haven't tried it.But I think this shape wouldn't fit very well for driving. You'd maybe want a device designed specifically for that. But at least while you're parked it could be great. The included power supply has a 100-240v 50/60hz input so should work in most countries. And 12 volt 2 amp output into the device (search for this if you need a replacement power supply). The remote has it's own cable that is non removable and concerned directly into the pillow. About a meter long. Both cables are thick and should easily last the lifetime of the motors. The options on the remote are:On/off button.Heat on/off button. (Only works when they motors are spinning)Two speeds button. See my video.Direction button. It turns off after 15 minutes which seems to be a feature of all similar pillows. But with this one it's super easy to get it to turn back on because of the remote. The heat is very mild and takes a while to notice. But that's all I'd expect at this price. There are moving parts and fabric layers etc. Can't expect it to also be a kettle and a dishwasher and the secretary of defense. When you turn off the heat the red lights in the pillow turn off. I'm not sure if this is an indication that the warming tech inside is some form of cheap infrared bulbs.Maybe there are units on the market with high quality infrared heaters that really heat you up. 🤔 I've heard IR can be good for back pain. When you just turn it on, it will switch directions automatically every little while. A minute or two. But if you choose direction manually then it will continue to use that direction for the rest of the 15 minutes. That's a nice feature. But the remote has no memory beyond this. When you turn it on it's always the same: Fast speed, heat on, automatic direction switching. So if you need something else you might need to press a couple buttons every time you turn it on. No big deal and honestly I'm very happy with the default settings.I don't know how long it will last but if I get a year out of it I'll be very happy. Though I imagine it should last longer.Considering this unit costs less than an hour with a human massage therapist I think it's a great deal. (I've never been to one so I can't say how they compare exactly.)I think if you use this gently without putting your whole body weight on it 0then the motors shouldn't be working too hard and it should last a good while. The pillow is around 13 x 7 x 4.5 inch in size. And the actual moving area is around 10 x 4.5 inch. And the spinning balls stick out about 1.5 inch from the rest of the pillow. So what next? Well there are massage chairs. Could be great for work. Or maybe a really good dedicated IR heating pad? I need to try more things to improve my back. But I'm very happy with this for the price.

Brilliant best thing I’ve ever bought
I’ve had low back pain for at least two years, pain killers helpedbut didn’t solve the pain long term, pretty sure mine was a trapped nerve. After trying one o these machines in ALE HOPin Tenerife thought it was good buy and good price but a little rough for me as it massaged my backIt only had one setting so thought I would wait while I got home to look on Amazon.I purchase this one on Amazon, as its got three settings ,thought it might bemore gentle on my back, I used it on the lowest setting and just put it behind mewhile sitting on the settee watching tv, it goes for 15 mins at a time and heat starts to comeon 8 mins into the 15 mins, it’s so very relaxing, I actually start to nod off,as soon as it stops, I give it 10 mins then start it up again. After using it about 3-4 times in 2 days I am pain free, if after a week I feel a twingeI use it for 30 mins and I’m fine again, it’s not going to be a permanent fix, but my god it’s great tobe pain free for such a long time, I can cope with a twinge now and again, I’m veryhappy. To be honest if I was reading this review. I would think don’t believe a word, bu it reallyhas worked for me. Best money I have ever spent.Highly recommend.

Brilliant purchase!
We ordered our Renpho Neck & Back Massager on the 15th May and received next day on 16th May.As a family we have been using the massager for over 2 weeks now.On opening the box we were very impressed. The massager, charger cover and instructions were all as described. The instructions are well written and simple to understand so it's easy to get the massager plugged in and operational. At first use we were very impressed, the massage feeling is just like a massage chair you would find whilst having a pedicure. The balls are powered by a strong motor which really invigorates the back and neck muscles. We paid £29.99 which we would have easily have paid in two trips to a massage parlour. It’s couldn’t be simpler to use . Not only that it really works. I’ve been using it on a deep muscle pain I get in my neck and it's really making a difference.Absolutely a worthwhile purchase. We highly recommend the Renpho Neck & Back Massager to anyone considering buying one.

Worth the money so easy to use
If you are a term long term back pain suffer you know there are no miracle cures and the slightest movement can throw your back out for days. Have been using this product for a few weeks now and do feel relief and more flexible. I love that it is very easy to use, even when I am at work. Also by having this product it saves on regular expensive physio appointments. Yes I would definitely recommend this product. By using regularly I am hoping for fewer spasms and I do feel that it is helping me even with my daily stiffness. You can actually feel the kneeding motion hitting the spots and giving immediate relief and it is easy to adjust the cushion to get to different areas. The heat also is very helpful. It goes on a 15 minute cycle.

Wired remote made all the difference.
I suffer severe damage to my legs and spine. I need to release the tight muscles in my hip and legs at the end of the day. I have tried many devices to do that. After trying many of the Shiatsu Massage Pillows, I found the Wired remote made all the difference, giving me the control I need to do my legs, without having to move my back alignment to adjust the controls.. I tired wireless remote pillows, finding the wired remote far more useful. After 8 months of using this device, I realized I am dependent on it, gratefully so.. Although It's still working just fine, I bought more of them, to safeguard my future therapy needs. I am thankful to have found this rempho device.

So far, excellent purchase!
I've only had this a few days, but so far so very good! I honestly felt more relaxed after using it once on my lower and upper back, then neck and shoulders. I was aware of a feeling of ease that was a real pleasure. I have to be careful not to overdue it or I'll have sore spots. This pillow massager seems to be very well made, it's quiet (makes a hum but unobtrusive), and it works. I have wanted one for a long time after using an Osim a few years ago. Finally with the price at $49 I felt I could get one as a Christmas present to myself. My granddaughter used it on her back and quickly declared she wanted one too.I had a question about it and fired off an email to the company and it was answered quickly and efficiently. Unless something goes drastically wrong suddenly, I expect a happy experience with this massager. It is certainly lovely to use and I recommend it.
