Small but Mighty
At first I did not think there would be enough for my home decor projects. I had enough paint for 10 mini chalk boards( 3 coats each), and Three 6" X 24" Signs with words (3 Coats each) and still have some left over.Application is simple , I applied small (dime to nickel size) dots to my project and applied a layer at time- don't be concerned about the thin texture- once you layer it will be a rich coppery color not a true "rose" aka pink gold either on light wood or dark wood. On the darker Wood it just adds an enhanced glow to my words.Washes off hands , paint brush, and other surfaces easily.

Excellent consistency - truly can be used on many surfaces
I use this paint for crafting and in my artwork. It has a nice consistency, not dry, but thick enough that there's no running or pooling. It can be painted on with a brush, sponged, rolled on,, etc. It is multipurpose - I've successfully applied it to paper, burlap, canvas, plaster, and glass. For me, the drying time is about 10 - 15 mintes. It dries without stickiness or tackiness, and remains fast even when I apply polyurethane. I like that it's metallic without glitter.I've made multiple purchases of this paint, and some of the other colors. I find them all excellent, with the exception of the silver. The silver is acceptable but runny. Since my experience has been the same with all but the silver, I'll be using this review for all but the silver.

Got two bottles
Not sure if it's a shipping error or what, but when my box arrived, it actually contained TWO bottles of this paint. Had to come back and check to see if I'd just missed the part where this was a pack of two, but it doesn't say that anywhere.I've had the same bottle of Apple Barrel Pure Silver paint for more than ten years, used for miscellaneous craft projects. I recently decided I wanted to paint my Google Cardboard silver, and I got through two coats before running out and still not having full coverage.I picked this paint to replace it because it was the cheapest available on Amazon for the small 2-ounce bottle I'm used to, and so far I really like it. It covers well and looks shinier than the paint I was using before. It's giving my project a "brushed aluminum" look that is going to be really great when I'm done with it.

High quality gold paint.
Martha Stewart gold paint cost more than other comparable craft gold paints. But the quality was well worth the extra cost. I was restoring an antique Singer sewing machine. The metal base has the Singer logo in what was originally gold. I used the Martha Stewart Gold paint to redo the fine letters and logo. It flowed on very smoothly with a fine brush and usually covered in one coat. It came out beautiful. I would buy Martha Stewart brand craft paints again.

Good, but not THAT good.
I've used a lot of metallic paint over the years, and this one is pretty good. The color is bright and true to the appearance of a newly-polished penny. (Other brands do better with deeper copper hues). Coverage is less impressive, however. I used the paint on a thrift-store Windsor chair, and, even over primer, it was streaky enough to require three coats, so the project took longer than I had anticipated. More paint, too--in fact, I almost ran out. I'd post a photo except that I already applied polyurethane over the paint, which changes its appearance. In sum, I liked the paint enough to order some more--until I saw that the price had more than tripled since I bought it just thirteen months ago (I paid two fifteen per bottle). Not sure what's going on, but, even in a brick-and-mortar store, it's generally three, maybe four, bucks.

Quality product, but color is flat/near matte
The brand puts out quality paint. I've never had issues with fading, chipping, or peeling. The color wasn't what I had hoped. It was more of a flat/brushed metal as opposed to a polished silver that reflected and shined. It worked as a paint below my shiny silver, giving my image more dimension. Worked out just fine.

Multiple coats on a towel looks good!
I used this rose copper color for a bachelorette's towel (and a light blue for the guests') and it turned out pretty copper-y with a tint of rose. I was hoping for more of a rose-gold tone but this actually looked pretty good on a white face towel. It was easy to use with a foam brush and stenciling for letters.

Excellent finish on dark wood.
Took two coats to make sure there weren't any spots, but I liked how thick the paint was and how clean the look was when it dried. I painted the rim of a hand carved wooden bowl, and then finished it with butcher's block oil to make it foodsafe. Very happy with the results.I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the gold came out as a very "rosey" or "honey" gold against the dark background, and I hoped it would turn out to be a little brighter. Still, it has sufficient shine, and for the cost it is very good value. Recommended.
