Will be buying again for sure
I'm very happy with these. Love that they don't break up into microplastics and that they have enough scrubbing power to get things clean. The loop to hang them up to dry is a nifty addition.

Great alternative to synthetic sponges
I had previously been buying biodegradable cellulose sponges in a bid to send less to landfill, but decided to try these as I felt the cellulose sponges were a bit too soft to get a good scrub. When I first opened the packet I was surprised how flat these loofa sponges were but they swell up when you put them in water. I was worried they might be a bit too stiff for cleaning inside glasses but they’re actually quite flexible. The slightly rough texture means they’re great for cleaning pots and pans but they’re also gentle enough for glasses. My first sponge did start to tear a little after a few weeks but I think I might have caught it while cleaning a knife. Overall these are maybe a little bit pricey but they’re the best alternative to synthetic sponges that I’ve come across.

Brilliant biodegradable, natural sponges
I love these dish sponges. The regular dish sponges I was using kept smelling only after a week of use so decided to switch it up. I knew I wanted something eco friendly and discovered these. They are initially hard but as soon as they are submerged in water they soften up and are brilliant at cleaning the dishes. The first set of dishes were covered in tomato soup, my old sponges would stain red after doing this. But these sponges clean up the dishes and the sponges are clean after use too. They last such a long time, I bought them in May and 5 weeks later I am just throwing away my first one. It doesn't smell and I have washed it twice since, and has only just developed holes.Someone mentioned you can't use these to wipe tables. Yes you can. I have a 3 year old so am always wiping up spills, these are brilliant at this.Although they are more expensive than those plastic ones, these will last more than 6 months and are biodegradable so are definitely worth the price. Can't find a single flaw.

Brilliant!
Trying hard to cut back on plastics and non recyclable's in my home, was a bit apprehensive, as on arrival the sponges looked small but once wet they swell ready for use, they get into the bottom of cups clean of stains and can be hung to dry on the tap overnight. We have been using one since the minute they arrived, It doesn't hold stains (change colour) or smell as the old supermarket sponges did. so after 2-3wks I've not had to bleach it........ I can highly recommend this product as it this rate we will use 1 a month I'd have used at least half the pkt of the supermarket (non stick) sponges and as this erases food residues in saucepans as well as on Crockery. They are BRILLIANT.... I truly can highly recommend this product.

They don't work as scourers
I was hoping to replace my usual scourering sponges with these more eco ones buy sadly they're not up for the job. They're fine as a dish washing sponge instead of a brush, but for tough, dried on food they don't work. Shame.

Brilliant plastic-free alternative to kitchen sponges
I’ve been using these for a few weeks now and have just started on my second one. These do a great job of cleaning with minimal elbow-grease, and last well. The main advantages of these are:Storage - 6 of these take up the same amount of space as 1-2 conventional plastic spongesEco- friendly - when it’s at the end of its useful life just chuck it in the food waste for compostingHygiene - the hanging loop means no more damp sponge breeding nasty bacteria to the sink, simply loop it over the tap to dry between usesThey handle most items with ease, although the first one did not like the very sharp knife I washed with it - totally my fault, a blade that sharp would slice a conventional sponge too, but it did shorten the life of the eplanita one significantly.I won’t be going back to plastic sponges, next mission is to find the perfect eco scourer for the more stubborn items like oven racks!

Harder than my usual one
I've been using this kind of sponge for years so I know that they are quite hard in the beginning, however these ones are harder and quite difficult to use. It will get softer so I still think it's a great product. On the other hand, I usually pay £4 for one and these ones are £6 for 6 so I can't get better than that!

Surprisingly pleased!
I've been on a mission lately to try to cut back on disposable products that are hurting the environment. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about these, and in particular whether they would be ok on my nice non-stick pans. They certainly took some getting used to, but now that I have, I REALLY like them a lot. They last a decent amount of time and I have less guilt when it's time to switch to a new one. They are strong on scrubbing but don't scratch my pans. I'd just warn that you need a lot more soap to get the job done because they don't retain the soap for long at all. Still, quite a cool product all around, and having a store of them doesn't take up much space under the cupboard because they store flat until you add water to them.
