Q: What is the inner diameter (not overall diameter) of ear pad?

It is an oval and it's 40mm wide and 55mm high. I am a quite a big fella and they fit over my ears quite nicely. They are a bit snug but not uncomfortable. I usually wear them for quite some time and there's no discomfort.

Q: Are they good for general listening on a hi fi set up.

Yes , I got them Im a bit skint so t£30 was all i could afford , I like load music theyre very clear very good , good bass , look good to they dont look cheap , unless you are very fussy & rich theyre spot on , comfortable , as good as last pair easily at £80. I do music so a proper 1/4 jack was a nice surprise as i always loose adapters

The cable that connects with a 3.5 mm jack to the headphones has some sort of "locking mechanism" for lack of better words, but I'm pretty sure you could use a regular cable.

Q: can those studio headphones be connected with guitar?

Not directly. Electric guitars have an unamplified mono output whilst electro-accoustic only have a pre-amp mono output so you'll need an audio interface to amplify the guitar. Most multi-effects pedals have a headphone output.
