This cream provides a “secure border” around the wound that seemingly helps the surrounding skin to heal and keeps any tape used to secure dressings from irritating the skin.

Like product after wrestling from tube lol So so thick, it hurts my hand sometimes to even get any out. Guess that's the "extra" in protective..

This cream is good but not as GREAT as the ointment. Why can we no longer get the ointment as it works so much better?
