Royal Family Big Mochi, japanese mochi candy dessert rice cake, Red Bean Flavor, 4.2oz/pk (Pack of 1)

I havent had these since I was a little girl, one of the perks of having Asian friends lol. They taste almost as I remember, but lack just slightly in the flavor, still good none the less. They are not overly sweet at all, so if thats what your wanting maybe look for something different. I will continue to horde these to myself haha

I kind of hate to admit this, but this is one of my new favorite snacks!I was hesitant at first because how could Red beans be tasty? But after trying them, I am in love! This is probably the fifth time I've ordered them!I highly recommend at least trying them!

My husband liked them but I didn't as much. I think they may have become too warm during shipping/sitting in my mailbox until I got home which gave the mochi an odd oily sheen on the surface. Texture is correct, flavor slightly off but that may have been from heat. Of note these were shipped in thinly lined envelope via USPS so they were not protected from my postal worker's ogre-like mail handling. None the less all of the mochi were intact even though slightly mishappen :)

I've never had any mochi before this, so I don't know how it compares to other flavors or brands, but it was very tasty. The outside white part is fairly sweet, and has a gummi texture. The filling is a sweet bean paste that also tastes pretty good. The only 2 problems i can think of is that they are smaller than I had expected (roughly the size of a US quarter), and that some of the beans for the paste aren't completely broken down, so there will be a few small chunks of beans in the paste.

Individual servings were tiny. Filling had entire, uncooked beans. This was not a high quality product, nor a good value.

When I opened the wrapped Mochi I felt hard lumps in the cake. I was surprised and disappointed. Such poor quality in your product. Hard beans, not edible. The flavor was not good either. In future I'll make sure to stay away from Royal Family foods.

I happen to love these. I stumbled across them locally but can't find them anymore. So I was glad to see them on Amazon. The outside is doughy and the inside soft. Possibly an acquired taste for some but I loved them from the first time I had them.

It tastes really good! It is very fresh. It is just what I expected. It’s all individually packages. It makes it very convenient. The seller provides a speed delivery. I feel 😃!
