Flonase Allergy Relief Nasal Spray, 24 Hour Non Drowsy Allergy Medicine, Metered Nasal Spray - 60 Sprays

Markedly decreases post nasal drip from my allergies. Pricy but does what it's supposed to.

Original Flonase is well-documented here and elsewhere and is well respected. My allergist specifically recommended it, saying not to waste time with anything else. There are a couple of things about it that may not be common knowledge. One is that, unlike most similar products, it actually stops allergens from entering the nasal passage rather than just deal with them after the fact. That is supposedly what makes it so effective. The other thing to know is that because of how it works it can take up to 3 months for the body to realize its full effectiveness. Based on these facts and my own personal success with using the product I believe it earns 5-stars. But what if it was better? What if it didn’t get the inside of your nose so wet? What if it didn’t have that scent? What if you didn’t have to stick that nozzle so deep into your nose and pump so hard? The same allergist introduced me to the new Sensimist version recently as an improved version. It apparently has all of the same benefits but is scent-free and sprays a fine no-drip mist from a shorter nozzle. I’ve compared the two and agree that it is an improvement, with the addition of a rounder more portable bottle that doesn’t leak in a pocket or purse. [NEW INFORMATION] since I posted this I've talked to a top allergist who advised me that I was spraying the product wrong. The proper way is to spray against the outside walls of the nasal cavity, not directly into the cavity. She also gave me a tip about how to know how much is left in the bottle. Rather than tear the label off (which she discouraged in case there is a recall or adverse reaction) she said to simply hold the bottle horizontally with the green cover removed and the tip pointing at a window or bright light. You will be able to easily see the pump tube and know which way to hold it to get the most use out of the contents.

Great for allergies

I have as most of us a problem with allergies pollen etc. After trying the doctors medicines that always not works I reached and purchased this so far so good for me. How ever I did a little more research and found that really works with sinus and allergies with everyday uses Oregano oil that right works wonders I have very bad a severe sinus problems nothing and I mean nothing has help me combat that excessive drainage water eyes and it always happens at night I heard that Oregano Oil was good for just that I have been taking about a month or so and baby let me tell you I am free of drainage if I had to say on the scale 1-100 I would say 95% better I can sleep with out all the excessive drainage when the doctor said oh it acid reflex then another doctor say it was chronic sinusitis no one new all I know now is finally one doctor said try this and it work DR. Mandell is my life saver I tried it and as I said it works better that the sprays on the market I take the the oil spray 6 drops in the water every day for 14 days then stop then go back again.

I prefer this allergy medicine to the leading brand pill. Although the pill works much faster (within an hour), it leaves me with an overall sluggish and tired feeling. Flonase takes about 2-3 days to fully work for me but when it starts blocking the histamine, it is golden. I can work, exercise and live life without allergies and that slightly drugged feeling from the pills. Update: After using this product for almost a month, I woke up one day with a terrible sore throat that lasted several days. I stopped using Flonase and the symptom went away. Also, I was shocked when I recently stepped on a scale and saw that I had gained about 10 pounds in a fairly short space of time. I have not changed my eating habits, in fact eat very healthy, and exercise rigorously 4-5 times a week. After research online I read complaints from users of weight gain due to the steroid component of this product, perhaps activating cortisone in the body. I have laid off the spray since it has relieved my symptoms for now. I think this product is good for short term use.

My allergist prescribed this decades ago when it could only be obtained by prescription. I couldn’t handle the smell/taste. Since the prescription nasal spray i’ve used for decades no longer helps my nasal allergies, thought i’d try this again. This definitely relieves my nasal allergies much better. I just have to condition myself to get over the taste/smell. UPDATE 7/3/18: Ok! The pump kinda sucks. Sometimes it won’t spray, so I pump it and lose some product. Anyway, I ran out of product a few days ago. Today, my nasal passages were stuffed, and I had a horrible headache. While contemplating whether to take a Tylenol or not, the product arrived. One spray in each nostril and my passages started draining almost immediately. My headache stopped within minutes. It has now been several hours and my nasal passages are still draining but they are open and I can breathe through both sides. I love this product! I wish it was on subscribe and save so I don’t run out.

As a big cat lover, I was heartbroken when I found out I have cat allergies. We had already adopt our cat and I couldn't bear the thought of giving him back to the adoption center because I had these allergies. So after a week and more of suffering (watery itchy eyes, sneezing, runny nose, itchy throat) I bought this and it works! My sneezing went away, my throat is 99% back to normal (I get random itchy throat but it goes away in a minute), my nose is 90% back to normal (I get runny nose a bit when I am with my cat but it's just a bit), and my eyes are not longer painfully itchy (but still a bit watery from time to time). Also, for my painfully itchy eyes I got "Bausch & Lomb Eye Itch Relief" on Amazon and it work immediately! Hope this helps any cat lovers who have to live with the fact that they are allergic to these lovely creatures!
