US Toy Plastic Astronaut Toy Figurines (1 Dozen), 2-1/2"

We bought several sets at Christmas to give our grandkids to go along with LEGO space sets, or Magnaformer space sets. Usually those sets don’t come with space figurines. And even though they might not be to scale for these sets, the kids used their imaginations and had the astronauts on the moon, in the stars, launching, landing. They are sturdy and a nice arrangement including a flag to plant on the moon. Totally worth it, a great toy for imagining.

These are cute and there's a nice amount and variety for the price. We used them to celebrate "NASA Day" with the kids. They work well as cute cake toppers and as table scatter/decor. Our set included one astronaut whose American flag sticker was missing from his pole (the flag shape was still there, just no sticker) but that's the only problem we had with ours.

There are two of each rocket man and they're decent quality. I only had two that could not stand on a hard service by themselves due to curvy feet surfaces. They're great for cake decoration and pretend play. My 3 year old loves to use them on his planet play mat and in the dirt. I'm happy with purchase.

The media could not be loaded. These mini astronauts worked great for my daughter's 3rd grade science fair project, which commemorated the 50th anniversary of the 1st man landing on the moon. We placed 2 mini astronaut figures, a mini Lego video camera, and a mini lunar module onto a moonscape platform, which was secured to an electronic turntable with velcro. Was a big hit at the fair.

My son is a big astronaut fan. He had a project at school to decorate a shoebox, so I bought one set of these for doing that, but I knew he would want to play with them also so I bought a second set. They're decent, with two pairs of six different poses each. However, the ones with the flags are a little flimsy and the flags have a tendency to break. If the flag poles were a little thicker and more solid, this would probably be alright. The flag itself is the first thing to become loose and break off. These would be great for the project I described, or as cake toppers, however, but if you're buying them as toys, don't bother. Also do not buy if your kid still puts things in their mouth, even if they're within the appropriate age range as these have very small parts and are definitely a choking hazard.If you're buying it for a project or cake decoration, these would probably work great, but if you're buying them as a toy, I'd say move along to something else.

I've been creating "alternative" fairy gardens I guess you could say. I came across these guys recently and decided a moon landing or space fairy garden could be cool, so I ordered them. They are the size indicated, but really heavy duty. I don't know if the color will hold up in the summer sun, but for the price, I don't know if that will matter. They are really detailed. Excited to try this out.

My daughter insists she is going to be an astronaut when she grows up, she is 9 years old. I got these and currently her elf on a shelf leaves her one each day in the count down to Christmas with the name of an astronaut she has never heard about before attached. She then will research said astronaut. She loves her little figures, currently she has them lined up with the names in the living room. These little fellas could go great for any number of things.

Used them as cupcake toppers. They are a bit on the larger scale but worked well with the large cupcakes. Since this review is only for its use as props, I give it 5 stars. As a toy, there are several issues with it. But once again, you cannot beat the price and the kids certainly do not care if the American flag is upside down.
