Bought for my daughter, a budding artist. The paper is beautifully thick and looks very expensive and well made. She loves the pad, so I can see more being purchased in the future.

"This heavy drawing paper is durable, yet smooth, making it ideal for a wide range of artistic expressions, including ink and pencil drawing, watercolor, or even acrylic painting." This is simply not true. The paper is relatively heavy I will give them that, but it cannot handle wet media properly - that means no watercolors/ink let alone acrylics!! I have seen people in other reviews claiming this can handle acrylics - either they were high when writing the review or they received a different sketchbook than mine. Specifically if you try to use watercolors/inks/acrylics with it, what happens is the paper will buckle like hell and will actually start to peel of - this is for light washes (so the people who claim it takes light washes...well I guess that's BS too). If you actually apply around 5-6 layers of color pencil (and use blending techniques) the same thing will happen, so also not all that useful for color pencils. This a sketchbook that handles more or less well dry media - graphite, charcoal, pastels, oil pastels, etc, and that is it. It's a generous amount of paper at a very low price - and that's the only reason why does not get a one star review. But please don't deceive people by claiming your product is able to do something it does not do. Next time I will save up my money and buy actual decent mixed media paper.

Paper is nice and sturdy. Its thick but not like super duper think. Takes a lot of paint and water to worp the paper. I bought this to practice acrylic painting on. It came with 100 sheets and seem worth the price I paid. I have used it to do regular drawing and sketching and well, it was paper. I used water colors on this paper and they appeared fine. It did have a lot of weird blooming effect but I think that was just due to my lack of skill with water color. The paper did get a bumps in it. But again, could have just been my lack of skill and technique. One thing I can say for sure is, water color markers do not work well on this paper. The rough texture makes it near impossible to have a solid stroke. They also do not blend on this paper. They just bleed and feather out and leave very harsh lines. The color stays put. This is bad paper if you are looking to do marker art and or blending marker ink. Lots of rubbing also causes the paper to pill but that was only an issue when I was trying to blend out my water based markers. Overall, great paper with multiple uses.

The beautiful paper in the Belofy art paper spiral-bound book has 100 pieces of HIGH quality pages- they are acid free- waaaay heavier than any other "sketchbook" I own or have (98lb-9x12"- great size too- I can use this for sketches, illustration with my Copic Pens, and also even use it with my acrylics- and I've already used it for "paint pouring". There are so many pages, and the price is so good, that I find myself creating some of the best things I ever have, because the pressure of making sure "everything is just perfect for my $10 sheet of paper from the art store" is gone- and with that pressure off to the side- everything is just (creatively, lol) pouring out of me. I could not be happier- and the seller has been especially great- checking up to make sure I'm happy with my order (which I am %100,000)- I will be buying from this seller again for sure. The products from this seller are "winners"- it is SO nice to receive the quality products one needs (often one can order from anywhere, and find that the product description did not describe what they received)- trust me- a working artist (painter predominently) for (working that is) 18 years........I've bought and tried so, so many products over those years- and often they are a let down- so nice to be able to say these nice things- so nice- I really appreciated the thought and care that went into my package- buy from these guys- you'll %100 be happy with what you get- promise! :)
