I generally don't trust flowery reviews, so I'll do my best to be fair, concise, and remain on point. First, I tried others, including the "Ultimate" dental guard from one of the big boys. It was anything but, at least for me. Its ill-fit was exceeded only by its price, but I'll save that for another review. This guard cannot be matched, especially for the price. The fact that you get a total of four dental guards in two different sizes gives you a backup, options, and margin for error. I needed that last one, as I botched the first molding by making the water too hot and leaving the guard in juuust a bit too long. There are clear directions that, if you follow better than I did, will provide excellent results. Pay attention to those temperatures and timeframes. I bought an inexpensive food thermometer to get the second one right. When fitting, don't immediately dismiss one or the either size based on pre-mold fit. I started with the larger because the smaller one just seemed too small. I was able to salvage the larger one I botched for size comparison, and then proceeded to mold the smaller one even though it didn't feel right before heating in the water. However, after doing so, it became very pliable and fit much better than the larger one, as it didn't go all the way to the back of my mouth. I had to trim the larger guard, which was easy enough, but the smaller guard fit perfectly! It doesn't have to cover the very back teeth if you are getting these to prevent your teeth clenching. They won't make contact. Perhaps consider the smaller pair first to prevent clenching and the larger for whitening. As for performance. These were perfect! They did not come out of place in my mouth at night (something I can't say for the "ultimate" that I almost choked on). And it wasn't for lack of trying. I was in rare form the first night, dreaming that I was eating a cookie, as I woke up chewing on these. They never shifted location. Since then, my mouth has become accustomed to having a guard in place, so less cookie dreams, for better or worse. Regardless, they are comfortable and reliable! The next morning, I had no aftertaste or bad taste or any taste that I've seen others comment on about dental guards in general. They were easy to clean, too. I just used my electric toothbrush on them after brushing my teeth, rinsed them off, shook them off, and let them air dry in the handy container that was provided before closing it. All ready for the following night! Also, I should probably be saying "it" instead of "them." I only had one guard in my mouth to keep from clenching, but I'm not going back to change all of that now. ;-) So much for concise. Wrapping up, I would just say you're not going to get a better fit with as many options and a tray for anywhere near this price. When the time comes, I will definitely buy again!

The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, I had no trouble fitting the guard to my mouth, and you can trim it if it's too big, which is amazing! The product itself is amazing, it has helped my teeth pain from grinding them at night, and it also works great as a teeth whitener. I love this product and will definitely be buying again!

I purchased these mouthguards to help ease my teeth grinding issues. The guards were easy to prepare for use with very clear instructions. It's very nice to have spares, too! These are easy to wear. I pop one in at bedtime, sleep comfortable, and take it out when I awaken. It's easy to keep them clean and fresh, too. I would recommend these for their ease of preparation, upkeep, and effectiveness.

This was an absolute waste of money. I carefully followed the enclosed instructions to make them fitting but was unhappy with the result. I then decided to visit the manufacturer's website as stated on the product packaging. To my surprise the instructions were completely different. Hoping that these were instructions that would give me a second shot (there were 2 small and 2 larger guards included in the packaging) at creating a proper fitting set. Unfortunately, again not the desired result. Cheap Chinese stuff with poor instructions. Don't make the mistake I made. I'm going back to the dentist to get a real one made. They have actually come down in price with developments in measuring and 3D printing since I last had one made years ago.

I wish this came with a tray for the biting process. Using my thumb and biting down made it easier for things not to sit as nicely/properly. I did have to cut some parts down because of how tall it was as well. Cutting brought small slivers of bits that I was worried to swallow and picked them out. I also wish this was more solid than already hollowed cus it impression would also be better that way. I hope this will do in the meantime while I wait to get one done by a dentist. Thankfully the larger guard does cover my last molar almost completely. The guard I had before this was causing me pain from the pressure it put on the uncovered tooth. I guess for 15 bucks, it ain't bad. Still need to test it a couple nights and see if it causing any jaw pain anywhere.

Packaged with all that you need for mouth guard. Instructions are easy to follow. ONLY USE A WOODEN SPOON (Why I gave it 4 stars). When guard is put in boiling water, it will stick to plastic utensils. Boil a second time after first bite for a better fit. Be sure to press around gum, especially behind front or lower teeth and bite with firmness. Keep in mind that the small and large will shrink in size. May not need to cut the large to shorten. Works well at night for teeth protection from grinding. I also use this with a dream wear nasal CPAP machine on upper teeth and works well. If using a CPAP, be sure to consult your doctor.

Great alternative for custom guard prescribed by dentist.

I lost my dentist-made mouth guard while traveling. I grind my teeth at night and mess up dental work, so I can't go for long without one. Not wanting to spend several hundred dollars on a new one right now I decided to try these. They work great! They are easy to mold and very comfortable. It comes with two sizes and I used the smaller one. They are soft and pliable and looser to wear than my previous guard, but that's fine. I don't have any problem with it falling out. I plan to continue using these for now and probably will during travel long term to avoid another loss of the expensive kind!
