Lipper International Bamboo Wood Salad Bowls, Small, 7" Diameter x 2.25" Height, Set of 4 Bowls

These bowls are perfect for single salad servings. They are beautiful and well made, very sturdy and hold up well. At first glance, I was afraid they would be a bit small, but their size is deceptive - they are the perfect size for a side salad. I do give them a quick wipe with (food grade) mineral oil occasionally, just to keep them looking good and it keeps the wood from drying out. I am very happy with these bowls, I expect them to last me for many, many years.

I got these as a gift for my significant other who can't stand the sound of metal silverware scraping on bowls and plates. It was a little pricey and I wasn't entirely sure if he'd love it, but these bowls have been NOTHING but wonderful!The bowls have a great texture and shape to them, and clean off very nicely. They also look fantastic! They also had a very pleasant scent when I first took them out of the box. One additional tidbit was that due to the material being bamboo, the bowls don't heat up to the touch in the same way stoneware bowls do, so you can enjoy your hot soup no problem!We've been hand washing these, just in case the dish washer wouldn't handle them well, and it's been a breeze. Hard to clean things have actually come off easier on these bowls than the old stoneware set we had. I assume the light texture is why.I highly recommend!

These bowls are really nice. They are a good size, and have a little weight to them. You see a lot of thin cheap wood bowls out there and these are well made and look great. I researched these for quite awhile before purchasing, and it looks like this was the right choice. These are so nice they would make a nice gift for someone.

These are my new fav bowl. I didn't know how fun wooden bowls are. I love eating salads and other super healthy things in them. I hand wash them immediately , dry them and put them away. Very happy with my purchase. Do not put them in the microwave FYI :P kind of a no brainer lol!

Our previous set of bamboo bowls finally wore out after many good years of use. This Lipper set of bamboo salad bowls are larger, lighter and more attractive than our old set.Durability depends on how well you adhere to the cleaning rules:No dishwashers! Hand wash with mild soap.No berries, cherries, pomegranate seeds or Kool-Aid colors! These bowls stain easily but you can lemon juice to clean it up.Store in a cool dry place! Don't leave these out in the sun or filled with water in the bottom of the sink. The bamboo will react to severe conditions.The Lipper set of four small, honey-colored bowls are seven inches in diameter and 2¼ inches high. Try and catch them on sale (we did) but rest assured you are getting better-than-average handcrafted quality for bamboo woodenware. If the Lipper set was a little less expensive, I'd give them five stars as a great value.Rating: Four stars.

The bowls wasn't sanded and or finnished, it was very ruff. And they are splitting. Sorry but I do not recommend for anyone to buy....

👰 🙏 Dear Lord, thank Lipper for me, Please let them know I love them so much for the bamboo products, I can't stop trying to find things from them. Let them know that they should get their bamboo products main stream.🙌 🙆 I saved the last bunch of lettuce from the fridge and tossed into the bowl. When I looked at the lettuce, they were dancing..🙋 😏 It's fantastic for people who can't or hate holding heavy bowls while sitting in front of the tv or with friends. But I won't stop at Salad, I'm gonna have everything in it cause as you can see by my Bamboo figure, I don't eat a lot.👰 🙆 I just hope everyone understands that Bamboo is not mainstream, and it should be but the corrupt companies and their products are mainstream so we have to search hi and lo for the non-corrupt tied products. There for it makes these products hard to find expensive products that you can get otherwise for cheaper.😍 Bamboo will come apart, but it's up to us to take care of them. Yes, even a toilet brush needs cleaning and oiling if it's bamboo or other woods. Don't let water soak onto them, don't leave soap from the water on them, dry them don't let them dry and so forth.😒 But Bamboo Products are of like, or like of are, Luxury items at the moment for many, so take care of them, and know you are doing good buy using and disposing of bamboo products, not poison toxic treated and killed for products.😤 Sorry for the length here, I'm a blogger but basically thank you Lipper, and all those who care about the environment. These bamboo salad bowls are beautiful. They're very solid and attractive. They come with labels saying not to put them in the dishwasher, which is normal for any kind of wooden/bamboo kitchen things. We feel safer eating our vinegar-laden salads out of these lovely bamboo bowls than out of our old china bowls, which were so old that the glaze had worn off. We are very glad to have these beautiful and fun bamboo bowls, and we use them every night.
