Good product
Well packed and shipped fast. I will use this to cut pool noodles for other uses.

Nice
Better quality than a cheap one I bought at a mega store.Review update :I've ben cutting synthetic crown molding with it. The saw cuts it well enough, but the saw doesn't go very far past the other side of the miter box ... so one has to use short strokes. Not an issue for me doing only one room, but shorter strokes and the saw slipping off track now and then does slow one done a little bit.

Far cheaper than a miter saw
I used this to cut trim for two rooms. It was a little tedious, but I have time. I borrowed an air compressor and bought a Brad nailer. Spent about 200$ on trim work, instead of about 600$. This jig saved me hundreds of dollars by not buying a miter saw. Eventually I’ll get one, but not yet.I wouldn't recommend this for anything large. I cut some 2x4's today, and only used this miter box to score a line. After that, free hand was much easier, with a different sharp wood saw.

Hard to cut wood
It's very hard to cut wood. The saw isn't sharp enough and is also quite heavy. In the end, I had to give up and return it. Fortunately, the return process was easy. Therefore, I give it three stars.

Great for frames and hobby projects.
This is a hobby product for sure. I bought this for a single project of 12 2'x4'x4" wood frames to be covered in fabric. There are two set screw holes on the base of the box. I secure the box on my wood bench and use a C clamp to secure the wood while cutting. I had no problems with the saw but with the nature of manual miter box work some people may have trouble. The plastic alignment groove does get ground out some during use, but my project came out fine. Just let the saw do the work and try not to rush.If I was building something more professional I would rent a miter saw.
