Excellent! Fits my Canon 80D well. Blocks light well. Nice soft texture. Doesn't interfere with opening back of camera. Doesn't fall off easily like cheaper smaller ones.

I tried this on Canon T50 and Rebel K2 35mm cameras. While it securely snapped right in, I cannot open the film doors on either. I imagine a flip out LCD screen would also be a problem. It has found a permanent home on my original EOS Digital Rebel (300D). It's not in the way of any moving parts as this camera screen doesn't flip and there is no film door. It's soft enough to be comfortable and yet holds shape, which literally cradles my eye perfectly, blocking all outside light and getting me close enough to not interfere with any of the view finder. Now, sadly I wear glasses and continue to find the right eyecup. This one is not perfect in that regard. I end up too far away for a good full view. Still, my glasses press flat against it without issue.

I do prefer a longer eye cup for my camera, and this does that job. It is more comfortable than stock and helps prevent the viewfinder from getting damaged or dirt. However, the contours of the rubber could be better shaped for my face. The fact that this comes as a 2-pack is nice, as I could potentially try to modify it to better fit me.

fits my Canon Rebel T1i, it's soft it fits and it does not leak light!

2nd one purchased for a Canon T6/80D. Also purchased another version that is similar to the Canon OE, but it separates with time from rubbing on camera bag taking in and out, its more a 2 pc type and the rubber separates from the mount. This one is 1 piece and is extended /protrudes out more allowing eyeglass wearers more comfort taking pictures and keeping light out of the viewfinder eyepiece. great for having a spare in the bag as well. Over time you're certain to lose one as any photographer will tell. zero complaints, very well packaged from manufacture, zero complaints to date.

It’s bigger than the stock canon viewfinder guard. And that’s good you get a more comfortable fit and it cancels out more light. The only con would be when paired with swivel screens, the screen gets caught on the underside of the viewfinder guard. This in of it is not a big issue, or really an issue at all. Just pushing the viewfinder up a little wit out of the way for the screen to fit back in to the body does the trick.
