Works GREAT for smaller windows
Quick thoughts: Easy to install. Holds up well. Convenient for renters who aren't allowed to screw into walls. Leaves a tiny, unnoticeable hole at the top of the window trim when removed. Minimal damage possible. Way better looking & sturdier than any "Command hook curtain hacks."Detailed review: I used this on a window that's about 40" wide. The wood trim is slightly under half an inch thick. The tap brackets were quick & easy to install with a hammer. I used an upholstery tack (kind of like thumb tack, but longer) in the extra hole along the length of the tap bracket for a little more security. (I'm renting a 100+ year old house where everything is a bit off kilter. This particular window trim isn't as thick as recommended; nor is it perfectly straight or leveled. I felt the tacks might help keep things better secured.) My rod & curtains are maybe 5 lbs combined. The rod is 1 inch thick, solid wood, & non-adjustable. I'd say it fits perfectly into the brackets. There's no resistance when putting it in or removing it, & there's hardly any wiggle space. At first, I tried a much thinner rod that didn't allow me to lock down the adjustable length. It didn't look as nice, and I had problems with the rod shifting whenever I handled my curtains. (Note: There's no tightening bolt on these brackets to hold a loose rod in place. In the past, I've used rubber bands to keep rods from sliding past the brackets. It's not the prettiest look, but it's concealable.) I can open & close my curtains easily, with no concerns of the tap brackets falling off.*UPDATE*: 2 months of daily handling & 3 curtain changes later, the tap brackets are still secure. I'm currently using much heavier & longer curtains to block out the Summer heat. I'd say the tap brackets are holding up roughly 9 lbs total. My curtains may be too wide for my window, but I need the density right now. I have to separate & tie them tightly to the sides when I want to open my window to use a box fan. This requires slight pressure & pull on the tap brackets. Still... no signs of them giving out yet! 😊 I'm satisfied with the product & will be ordering more.*Things to consider before buying*1.) If you have thick curtains & want to open them as wide as possible, it's not as easy as it would be with a traditional curtain rod. The tap brackets can only be mounted as wide as your window trim. Luckily, my trim extends 5.5 inches out in all directions; so I have some space to work with. This wasn't a noticeable issue for me when I hung more narrow & lightweight curtains. I could actually separate them without tying, & they just hung neatly to the sides. It looks a little sloppy when I try to tie back my thick curtains to expose my window as much as possible. It's not so bad if I tie them loosely, but then they block my window fan quite a bit. (Keep in mind: My curtains are probably too wide for my rod length anyway.)2.) You may not be able to get maximum effect from black out curtains due to the size of your window trim (i.e., the trim should probably be at least 6" from the top and sides of the window). Also, the tap brackets stick out quite a bit, which would let some light peak in regardless.3.) The tap brackets stick out far enough that my curtains can overlap my thick blinds without issue. If I didn't have blinds, I would use a tension rod to hang sheer curtains underneath a more opaque set. I don't think the tap brackets offer enough space to be able to layer curtains any other way. (Unless they make double hanging brackets, which would be awesome!)4.) I no longer think adding the upholstery tacks was necessary. The tap brackets seem sturdy enough for my window size. However, I don't have small children who tug at curtains or cats that like to climb drapes.PHOTOS: I've included photos to show how tightly packed my curtains are right now & how far the tap brackets extend over my blinds. You can also see how my window trim is not straight on one side, yet the tap bracket has held up just fine. (The part that nails into the trim is on a leveled surface, just before the divet.) You can also see where I added the upholstery tack. (The holes in the wall near the tap bracket were pre-existing & had nothing to do with this product.)

Sturdy
These are thick high quality metal curtain rod holders. Easy to use on wooden window frame. They hold 1” curtain rods in place. They look great and I didn’t have to drill any holes to set up my curtains.

So easy to install
Saves you from poking holes in your walls. No drill necessary. Wish I'd bought these sooner. Bought 1 to try it out. Have since bought 3 more. Looks just fine.

Nice!
These are wonderful! I wanted curtains in the bedroom and tried tension rods but they kept falling down when I would open or close the curtains. Since our house is fairly new I didn't want nail holes in the wood. These were just what I needed. Now I need to find rods big enough for my windows! WHAT I have now will work until I find what I like and can afford!

Works Just Like the Description…Awesome Product!
Even tho I like my rods/curtains higher above my French patio doors, this worked like a charm. I have issues with walls because of steel framing so it’s difficult to use standard curtain rod hardware…no problem with these…installed in seconds and look great!

As easy as it looks!
When someone says “You can hang drapes in 2 minutes with these.”, that is not an exaggeration. They go right up, easy peasy.I did choose to add a screw to the set up, there is a hole in the metal piece that aligns vertically to the window frame and so I put screws in and painted them (my brackets were bronze) so they blend into the bracket.Would absolutely buy these again. Sturdy and simple. And minus the screw, would leave no visible damage if being used by a renter.

Pretty basic item for cost
I ordered these, and it took so long to get here that I had to cancel the order. After looking at other ones, I realized that these are pretty basic as they do not have the screws to hold the rod in place. I imagine if you pulled a curtain too hard it would just fall off the bracket.
