These were given as gifts at my D&D table including myself. They make great little pads for keeping track of numbers, HPs, damage formulas from buffs, etc. I could see them being useful for MTG players too. My kid also doodles on it randomly.

I recently purchased the Electronic Writing Drawing Pads Doodle Board and have been thoroughly impressed. The board is lightweight, making it easy to carry around. It came in several different colors, my wife loved the pink one. It looks just like a tablet, and the screen is highly responsive to the stylus, providing a smooth writing and drawing experience. The erase function works flawlessly, allowing for quick and clean resets. It's an excellent tool for kids to express their creativity without wasting paper and also serves as a convenient note-taking device for adults.A few of the standout features that I’ve noticed are the screen's durability and the battery life. Despite my kids' rough handling and a few accidental tosses of my car keys onto it, the screen has remained in perfect condition without any scratches or damage. Additionally, the battery life is exceptional, lasting for weeks on a single charge. It's like writing with a crayon or a piece of chalk.NO fine detail, but it works for what I need.You can make a list, which is what I wanted, BUT, don't try to write a letter.

Excellent size, works well, well priced

Really fun little LCD tablets. I keep one at each desk and use them to quickly jot down notes and ideas. Very clear writing and it looks good in photos of it I take on my phone.

These Tablets are not backlit, you'll need to make sure you're in a room with adequate overhead lighting in order to see what you're writing. So if you're giving this to your child to draw on in the backseat during a late night drive they most likely wont be able to see what they're drawing at all.The ease of drawing is pretty good, but it honestly doesn't feel like this board will last long at all, it feels made of cheap plastic that will easily break and the screen feels like it would be easy to scratch and scuff up.It comes with a battery but its luck of the draw if your battery will be good in it. I had to buy a new battery for mine, which essentially tacked on an extra $5 for me. Battery type is a size 2016.The battery compartment is also held in by an extremely tiny screw, most people don't keep such a small specialty philips head screw driver, so that might be another possible expense. Opening the battery compartment is weird as well, there was no directions with my box and intuitively you'd think it would swing open from where you unscrew it, but nope there's another clasp on the other side you have to pinch to unlock it. Had to literally go back to the product page and find a picture of it being opened to see how.I also probably didnt read the product page close enough, when i read "8.5inch" i was thinking it was standard writing paper size. It's actually only 8.5inch long, and that's not a measurement of the screen length. Screen is closer to 6.5inch long, so it quite a small writing surface.I bought it for use with studying computer algorithms so i'll see how useful it is or if personally i'd need something larger.The "erase" button works great however, will immediately and completely clear the screen, and nicely there is a lock function to prevent any accidental erasing.

Do not buy!! After the first few uses they do not erase anymore and are then useless. Maybe it’s the switch or the battery, but they do not last. Wanted to like them, but should just stick with the boogie board brand and pay a lot more for something that actually works.
