Brighter than expected.
I bought these to use in the light bar above my bathroom vanity. They are the equivalent of a 40-watt bulb but seem brighter because they are LED lights, but they'll work fine. Can't speak to their longevity, but since they cost a lot more than incandescent bulbs, I'm counting on them to last a lot longer.

Don’t buy them, if you’re going put them in a fixture with a Dimmer switch.
The bulbs work well, in a non dimmer application. Quite bright and supposed to last longer than incandescent lamps.
