Dupli-Color TP101 Tire Paint – Black Spray Paint - 11 oz. Aerosol Can

I just finished applying this today. It looks great. It took two coats for good coverage. I did it on a warm day and it dried very quickly, a few minutes. Left a shiny wet look. At first I was annoyed because a lot of reviewers said it was more of a satin finish but mine is pretty shiny. After I got used to it I liked it more and glad I did it. Prep : scrubbed it down with Blech White and scouring powder twice. Did not mask off bolt on hub caps. They cleaned up pretty easily but I recommend you do mask them off. I applied the paint by spraying paint on a closed cell sponge and then using the sponge to apply the paint. Doing two coats on midsize passenger car tires (Buick LaCrosse) used about 90% of the can. Dries bone dry like the paint that it is so will not attract dirt. If it lasts six months I will give it five stars. It can look streaky or splotchy depending on how you put it on just like any paint. However, view it at another angle in different light and you won't see those things, just like any other paint. UPDATE: How long it lasts depends on the tire. I have three different tire brands on my car. One brand it only lasted about five months. Another 7 months. A third it is nine months later and still looks good! So tire brand makes a difference on how long it will last.

Good product and provides and almost texture paint application. My son's car has some older weathertech car mats...they where looking a little beat up...so figured let me find some good quality spray paint to refurbish them...and this product rocks! They literally look better than they did the day we purchased them..have had the car mats painted for a couple months now and no peeling from shoes and lots of activity with moving feet around etc..I figured this product would be perfect because its designed for rubber tires and I believe weathhertech mats are also some kind of plastic / rubber composite material....I will use this trick going forward for any old car mats needing a refresh...excellent 10 stars!

LONGEST lasting tire shine ever! I try several tire shines. Some only lasting a day or two. Dupli-Color Exactly what I been look for. Even the best tire shine only lasted two weeks at most! I have been using the product for a year now. Ready to buy my second can. I was spraying Dupli on to Autone 6Pcs Tire Contour Dressing Applicator Pads so that I did not have to tape off my rims, but now I just spray Dupli right on my tire and if I get any overspray on my rims I just use mineral spirits right way and clean its right off. I also use mineral spirits sometimes to clean my tire before using Dupli. My tires look great after 30 days. They still look fairly good after 60 days. I don't usual right reviews. Highly recommend!

This is NOT paint. Does not cover any existing overspray. Basically a tore shine that doesn’t last at all. After two coats over the red overspray it looks the same. Not worth buying at all.

Good product. Dries quickly which is a pro and a con. Pro - dries fast on tires making for additional applications in good time. Cons - dries fast, can create clogging. Ensure all taping and masking are done before you begin to spray. I would use this product again.

The initial application was beautiful. Dry time was quick.. The shine lasted for about a month and that’s it. Quality could be better. I would just stick with tire shine.

Whitewalls on the inside…but still look dumb. So erased them with this great paint. No longer embarrassed.

I got Duplicolor tire paint late in the year so I decided to spray down my winter tires. So I cleaned each tire with everything I had to make damn sure they were clean. I then used pretty much the entire can on 4 tires, one side only. November 3, 2019 is when I put the winters on. Took them off April 6, 2020. Mileage was 5600 km or 3500 miles were logged through a typical Canadian winter. Result : the tires were as black as the day I sprayed them less the wet look I didn't like anyway. Proper prep, and a heavy application is what I believe worked. The other is that if you ain't spraying paint from that can you best be shaking that can. I can't Duplicolor tire paint anywhere in Canada and when I order it on Amazon Canada I get message "cannot ship to your area". There is only EVER 1 person selling it on here as well

This product comes as advertised easy to use long lasting high shine dries quickly no sling ,These pictures were taken one month after applying the product I bought another two cans to give away to family and friends
