I don’t have a GoPro, but I do have a Maverick XR-50 grilling thermometer with four probes. I got tired of seeing the two base units and probes laying around my house so I decided to purchase this case. I love the customizable foam insert. I was able to set it up so that each unit nestles securely inside, and I keep the probes in the webbing in the top flap. I made some space for extra batteries and for the probe grate-stands. I don’t see myself traveling with my thermometer in this case, but if I need to, it will be a snap. I plan to store the whole set up on my pegboard out in my garage — no longer on my kitchen counter taking up valuable space! Fit and finish on this case is really nice. Feels like high-quality. The pre-scored foam insert is awesome and makes customizing this case for anything that will fit inside it’s dimensions easy.

What an amazing case! My wife gave me a new GoPro camera for my 40th a couple of weeks ago and while preparing to take it on a scuba trip to Belize, I realized I needed a case for my camera equipment. I browsed Amazon and the reviews and settled on this little gem of a case. I'm definitely happy that I did! The case is the perfect size for a "GoPro starter kit." I was able to fit my camera with its case, the remote, three batteries, a wall charger, several securing screws and all of the associated cables and the instruction manual in the case. Everything fit very snug and the additional inserts made my Hero3+ fit perfectly!! The case was small enough to fit right into my backpack for carryon so I didn't have to worry about checking it. It was out on a dive boat for several days and kept everything snug and protected. Once I learn the GoPro and look to add additional cameras to my setup, I'll definitely be coming back for the larger version of this case! JOB WELL DONE CAMKIX!!!

Excellent case really. As you can see it's fully customizable to fit you're own unique combination of GoPro camera and accessories. The customization part is very easy. Although you can always return back the interior foam cubes (1cmX1cm), I highly advise you to do it right from the first time as the structure tend to loosen up after removing them but some glue can hold them back together. The only downside probably is that the case exterior catches finger prints which I hate. The case provides very good protection inside out and can carry a lot. Please refer to list below and the product photo for my own setup. My case currently holds the following in its foam compartments:- - 1 Clear case. - 1 Blackout case containing Hero4 Silver with touch screen pack attached to it and the suitable backdoor. - 2 Extra batteries. - 1 Gimbal4 QD. - 2 Gimbal Batteries. - 1 Case for the touch screen pack. Also holds the following in the pockets:- All the back doors I currently own. - 3X Clear regular backdoors. - 3X Clear extended backdoors suitable for Hero4 Silver with battery pack. - 3X Blackout case backdoors. - Duo Battery Charger, - Gimbal Battery Charger. - Small charging cable.

Fantastic choice. The hard outer shell feels very sturdy and durable and gives me great confidence in its protection ability. The material is also very easy to clean off in case of dust or dirt. The XL is very spacious without being bulky at all (it fits very nicely in my daypack to carry on vacation). The best part of this case is the fact that it's completely customizable. Trust me, you need this feature. With this set up, you can end up fitting pretty much everything you need minus a monopod. In mine I fit cut outs for: a Hero 5 black, Hero Session, dual battery charger, 4 spare batteries, Go pro remote, Supersuit, a small plastic carrying case (to keep microSD cards, fog inserts, cloths, and lens covers)--and I still had enough space in the case to cut out a spare square space to keep incidentals like thumbscrews and mounts. I only give 4 stars because the case is too shallow in depth for you to utilize the mesh pockets on the topside. If you put anything in them and it protrudes even a little bit, you will end up smushing the contents against your camera lenses and other items you have stored in the foam that are taller than the bottom depth of the case. Minor inconvenience given the fact that the case is otherwise perfect.

I needed a convenient way to carry my GoPro 6 on vacations abroad. My parameters were - I required something that would fit the camera and accessories that I wanted to bring on my travels (as a new user, this was pretty basic). I wanted the case to fit in my backpack and provide enough padding and security to withstand the rigors of travel. I mostly appreciated that the padding could be removed in such a way as to arrange the case to my liking and not in some pre ordained way. This case fit the bill perfectly. I was able to fit the camera, a 2 battery charger, an extra battery (4 in total), a floating grip, a selfie stick, a remote and the remote holder. The case seems to be good quality and I'm confident that with it will keep the camera, et al safe when I travel.

Full disclaimer: I received a coupon code for this case in exchange for my honest review of it from CamKix. There is nothing in my intent in writing this review that is influenced by this. The package arrived on-time, and as expected. The case was simply packaged in a plastic bag, and came with (to my surprise) a couple anti-fog inserts, a microfiber cloth and some additional foam filler pieces to make your GoPro camera a tighter fit. All-in-all a nice presentation. The blue color, although not something I would have immediately chosen on my own, is very appealing now that I see it up close. The case itself is well-constructed and all the seams are finished nicely. The zipper is of good quality, and while not a fully taped seam, is at least closed. I would venture to say this case would prevent against some splashing, but not a lot of water. The interior is very nice - hard EVA foam rather than soft distinguishes this from similar cases from other manufacturers. Like those other cases, the slots for your camera and other gear are pre-cut, and are not like Pelican "pick" your shape foam. This is fine, as this case is specifically designed for GoPro and common accessories. The interior top mesh pocket is not zippered, which would have been a preferable choice for me given how things tend to tumble around in bags, but when fully fitted out, the pressure from the bottom half should keep things from scooting around too badly. It doesn't detract from the case's overall function of protecting your valuables. I would caution against putting small parts or parts with sharp edges in the mesh pocket, as they might snag or fall out. A small concern. I own another, similar, case from a different manufacturer, and the shell on the outside is much harder than this one. This one is stiff but doesn't feel as resistant to crushing as my other one does. I don't plan on putting either case to the test though. Just a note. I don't think this diminishes the case at all though. Inside another bag it should serve well (as I do it). I was fooled by the photos in the Amazon listing and didn't notice that the carabiner wasn't included, so I was bummed when I opened it. A word to the wise: it ain't in there, and CamKix doesn't claim it is, but it just looked, well - so natural! It was me missing some critical words on the photo on this one, but in case this prevents others from feeling the same thing, I've added this note. Things I really like about this case: * Good, hard EVA foam - adds a bit of lateral shock protection. * Nice choices on the cutouts for accessories - a good balance of items everyone should own with their GoPro. * The SD card holder is a nice touch. Has little finger cutouts to make it easy to get these in and out. In my other case, this wasn't thought of, so this case wins in this regard. * The included cloth and anti-fog inserts are a very nice "mint-on-the-pillow" touch from CamKix. This won me over a bit more than it should have. Not expensive to include, but a nice thought from the company. Kudos for this. * The exterior is attractive, both in color and texture. Has a bit of a "grippy" feel, which is nice when you are handling your precious cargo. * Nice zipper Things I didn't like? There aren't many, if I had to complain at all, these are minor points: * Wish the interior top mesh pocket was zippered. I typically carry a bunch of thumbscrews, and if you're like me - these are precious. If they get lost, your camera is hard to use. Anyway - I'm making more of a deal out of this than it is. * Compared to my other case, the stiffness of the shell is a little less than it. Depending on how you use a case, this could be a factor for you. If it is a serious factor though - I'd recommend a Pelican! Overall, a very nice case, and I expect it to serve me well. If I had paid full price, I would definitely think I had gotten a good deal. Nice job, CamKix!

I ordered the blue camkix case in "large" and felt it wasn't quit big enough to hold everything I needed it to for an upcoming trip so I went online and found the extra large case on black with some great extra features such as better handle, carrying strap, and the extra insert and immediately ordered it. It arrives and its smaller than the large blue case I ordered!!! Upon further inspection I see both are actually labeled size XL, but the black one is is thicker but too short for selfie stick I planned to pack. Get the sizing straight, this is super confusing trying to figure out what to order! I do love the blue color, it great, I just wish it had that insert and the carrying strap. Otherwise these both look like good products, I'm simply frustrated trying to figure out the sizes and was doing this at work without a tape measure handy based on pictures and terminology and its too late before my trip to get what I need.

I purchased this case for my GoPro 3 and I am very pleased with this product. The EVA foam cutouts are so well executed that they hold the GoPro and accessories tight and secure. Accessory placement is well thought out and the pouch in the lid offers additional storage for things like cleaning cloth, anti fog pad and cables. The outside of the case and zipper is covered in a really nice mesh type fabric and includes a carry handle as well. The quality and construction is top rate and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good GoPro case. I did underestimate the size of the case I needed, so I ordered the large case to house the other accessories I have. In addition, the EcoFused customer service department is one of the best I've every dealt with. I can't say enough great things about their willingness to help make purchasing their products a very enjoyable experience. Looking forward to receiving my large case from them.
