When you use the slides between the 2 towers, are the 2 towers attached or can 1 still fall down?

At the bottom of the slide there's like a slot thing that you can fit on the lip of the tower. If you watch the video it shows better what I mean. It's not as sturdy as the main pieces being stacked but it still holds pretty good.

we have a marble maze that keeps falling apart. Does this stay together once connected?

It's a mix and match slide. But the pieces stay together very well. It is really light weight so the little one can knock it over easily. But other than that it's pretty sturdy once put together

Would ping pong balls work?

Yes. But I think that they would be too light to travel down the ball drop successfully.
