Q: Will these work with 12v dc led lamps?

I used the transformer it to replace one of 2 transformers for older track lighting. Replaced 8 halogen bulbs 50 Watts each to LED bulbs with low wattage on two separate tracks. Works with dimmer also. Not sure about lamp?

Q: What type of dimmer switch can i use with this transformer? i currently use a lutron maelv-600, vs "standard" ma-600.

I had to replace my dimmer switch when I replaced the transformer and bought a Lutron. I went to Home Depot and was told that the one I was replacing was higher quality than the standard sold in the store and had to be ordered. I am sorry that I do not know the serial number.

Hello. Not necessarily. Please check the dimensions of your canopy and compare them to the dimensions of this transformer.

Q: What is the correct bulb for this transformer?

We used the transformer in a chandelier. And the unit is 300 watts, meaning you cannot surpass 300 watts, collectively in light bulbs. For example, if you were using 60watt bulbs, you could only have 5 bulbs on that light fixture.
