Fun Kit
This is a fun kit. Make sure you have a large field as the glider will glide when the winds are right!

Nice low flying easily recovered model
Having built Estes, and other, model rockets since 1967 experience with Estes has been terrific with great quality and design. This model will be fun to built and an easy recovery. In flight

Better than expected
Upon opening, it looked a little lackluster, balsa wood glider you have to glue together and paint on a tiny rocket body. After the first launch, I was all smiles as the glider detached perfectly and glided about 2 and half football fields away and landed ever so softly. I was worried the streamer instead of a parachute would damage the rocket body, not at all, it comes down slow like a parachute. Stole the show at the launch site, very interesting and different, and watching the glider fly is fun.

Cub Scout rocket day and a stuck motor
This was a rocket that I built for our Cub Scout pack rocket day. The scouts all get to build a simple, but I like to build a couple unique rockets to show them what else is out there. This was a really fun build that came out beautiful however after only 3 launches the used motor got stuck in the body tube and could not be removed without destroying the rocket. I could have sanded the motor down for a looser fit but didn't want any unexpected results. So now it's a wall hanger which is too bad because the scouts loved it.

Great Estes flier, very cool design
Arrived in a box so it wouldn't get crushed! erockets is great! Very happy with any and all Estes rockets, as they are well designed. If you follow the instructions and make no modification then the CP and CG are fine and the craft doesn't need to be spin tested before first flight. Just light that candle! I've assembled well into the hundreds of rockets since age 8.

Directions so unclear I had to resort to their warranty of one year immediately, which I am pleased to say that they stood behind the warranty and mailed me the replacement balsa sheet of parts needed to make it work. Great company just need instructions tweaked.
